The Washington Police Department explorer post will be hosting their inaugural 5k run. The money raised will be used to help send the explorers to the annual St. Louis Area Law Enforcement Explorer Academy, which is a week long event held in the St. Louis area. The academy costs the post roughly $450 per year. A majority of this is paid for by the post to allow for all explorers to attend that want to attend, regardless of financial ability. We are hoping to send 6-7 explorers this year. This is a program that is designed for youth aged 14-20 who want to learn about law enforcement. Exploring is covered under the Boy Scouts of America Learning for Life umbrella.

This run is being held the day before National Police Week begins.

A finisher medal and T-shirt will be included in the registration fee.

Awards will be given to top 3 males and top 3 females.

The run is being chip timed by Affordable Race Timing!

The route will be at the Washington Riverfront and will be an out and back going east on the trail.

    Thirsty Thursdays are back and once again sponsored by Good News Brewing and Fleet Feet St. Louis. We'll once again be hosting another series of timed 5K pub runs so we can enjoy two of our favorite activities: running and beer! We are adding some new features to the event in 2026, such as no processing fees, a loyalty program and age groups to the leaderboards!

    One Thursday a month from April through October, we will have a professionally timed race on the Katy Trail from Good News Brewing in Defiance, MO. The course will be an out and back on the Katy Trail with an open start line format to allow for commute times and low stress check-in. All registrants 21 & older will receive a free beer from Good News for some post-race refreshment, and Good News will also be offering extended bar hours and a pizza buffet for purchase.     Join us for this magnificent 4th Annual Drink MO Wine Run in Augusta, Missouri! The run begins in the quaint and hilly town of Augusta. After touring around the quiet, hilly, historical streets, you head down to the Katy Trail for some flat, fun miles. The 5k and 10k turn around and head back while the half marathoners will enter Klondike Park and enjoy the beautiful, wooded paved trails. After looping around the unique park, runners head back to amazing Augusta to finish!

    The finish line will include local businesses, light snacks, and an award ceremony at the park adjacent to Mount Pleasant Winery. All runners receive a cute picnic blanket and a "Passport to Missouri Wine Country" to guide you through the area wineries & shops.

    The race will be held at Washington Fairgrounds in Washington, MO with a start time of 8 am with a cutoff time of 12 pm. The race will be hosted by Rockinator Racing and will include: start/finish line, chipped bib, timing system with additional manual timing and finish line photos. There will also be a Hydration Station and Snack Shack available for all runners! Two indoor restroom facilities will be available.

    *If racing with a team - team members may not race at the same time as one another as this is a timed race. Each member will take a solo lap, then hand the team number to the next runner for their lap!

Since the Union R-XI Foundation took over this event, the race has returned to its roots with an evening start during Union's annual Founder's Day Festival. Being the oldest and longest-standing road race in Franklin County and one of the oldest in the St. Louis metro area, the Founder's Day Run has been known to be a tough race. This year will be no different.

    Come early and bring your family to see what Founder's Day has to offer. Then after you finish your race grab yourself a FREE beer (21 and over) and stick around and enjoy some live music. Founder's Day is an annual family-friendly event and takes place at the courthouse square in downtown Union, MO.
