NorthPointe Wellness Indoor Triathlon Series

Save the Date for our 8th Annual Toast to TanMan celebrating the life of our son, brother, and friend, Tanner Kitelinger. The day will kick off with a 5K FUN run/walk then an after party at The Rock Bar and Grill with a 50-50 raffle, meat raffle, prize raffle, kids fun and Karaoke.

Day of registration and starting line for the 5K will be located at Riverside Park (by the tennis courts), Riverside Dr., Beloit, Wisconsin near the shelter. Registration for the fun run will begin at 8:00 a.m. The 5K fun run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Proceeds from the Tanner Kitelinger Memorial Event including the 5K Run/Walk will go towards:

o Tanner Kitelinger Rising Star Award. This award supports selected Beloit Memorial and Beloit Turner Senior’s with their continued education as a first responder or front-line worker careers.

o VetsRoll. VetsRoll will receive support to pay tribute to our veteran heroes by transporting them to Washington, D.C over four days of honor remembrance, at no cost to our hero’s.

o Beloit Junior Knights Hockey Association. The Beloit Junior Knights Hockey Association.

This is one Hot Race!

Our past participants say “ it’s a Great Beginners Triathlon, with Super Volunteers and free children’s activities to entertain your family while you race!”

Triathletes will swim 350 yards in the seven-lane pool. Participants will swim one lap in each lane ducking under the lane marker to transfer to the next lane. Once the swim is complete, participants will exit the pool and head to the bike corral for the start of the 17-mile country road open course which takes place in Winnebago & Boone Counties. Triathletes will finish in the bike corral and begin the 3.1 run on the Campus trails which are a mix of blacktop & crushed limestone sections.

Due to the popularity of this event, we are offering start times at 9:00am and 11:00am

Our goal is to create an experience you’ll never forget – one that quenches your senses – with luscious taste and delectable aromas in a beautifully captivating setting. Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. What is Move Beloit?

Move Beloit is a community-driven wellness and arts festival to encourage healthy, happy lifestyles. The event will raise money and awareness for organizations that are moving Beloit forward. This year all funds are supporting Stateline Family YMCA and will feature a 5K Run/Walk, outdoor yoga, and family friendly activities along the beautiful Beloit riverfront from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Race Day Schedule:

· Packet Pickup/Same Day Registration: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

· 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.

There is ample free parking available at Riverside Park/Rotary Center.

REFUNDS: In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, we are unable to refund your registration fee. Please know that your money is going to a good cause. 100% of all proceeds benefit the Stateline Family YMCA.

Why Move Beloit?

Move Beloit was inspired by the lifelong community involvement and activism of Beloiter David F. Luebke. David received accolades for his athletic achievements through the years, but he was perhaps most well-known for tirelessly promoting his hometown. He first worked to improve the community through many decades in education, and later became City Council President and involved in numerous boards and volunteer organizations. He was a supporter of the arts, especially music, film, and theater. Move Beloit celebrates his passions and spirit while advancing the wellness and strength of our community.

Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful invites you to join our 1st annual 5 k to raise funds vital to continue to enrich our community with recycling on various levels. We offer three collection facilities and have several programs that include medication collection, clothing drive and shred it day.

The 2026 Run & Walk event is Saturday, September 19th and includes both a timed 5 K and a fun walk around the park. We will of course have some music to motivate your body for this run, and fabulous giveaways including an event shirt! Onsite registration is not available this year. Please register early!! No refunds as all the money goes to the many programs that Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful has! Ages 1-14 are free! Make this a fun family event!
