  multi-sport events for beginners. It is also a challenging opportunity for experienced and competitive athletes. The Chris Brown Duathlon includes a 5km road run, 25km road bike, and another 5km road run. The event is held at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The run course is fast and flat on a closed paved road within Mohawk Park. The bike course is relatively flat with only a few rolling hills along the city streets of Tulsa.

  Race Day

  • 6:00am: Transition Area Opens, Athlete Check-in Begins

  • 6:50am: Transition Area Closes – All participants must be out of the transition area at this time

  • 6:55am: Pre-race meeting at start line

  • 7:00am: Race Start

  Course Limit: You must be off the bike and on the 2nd run by 10:10am or you will not be allowed to start the 2nd run

  IT IS BACK! KID'S DUATHLON!!

  We are excited to bring back our Kid's Duathlon. The Kid's DU will happen after the Adult DU finishes. The Kid's Duathlon will be completed on the road trails inside the park that does not have any public traffic. These roads are closed to cars and are VERY FLAT! It will be a timed event, all finishers receive a finisher medal and the Top 3 Overall Male and Female will receive an overall award.

  • Ages 6-8 years old (as of 12/31/26)

  • 1/2 mile run - 1 mile bike ride - 1/2 mile run

  • Ages 9-12 years old (as of 12/31/26)

  • 1 mile run - 2 mile bike ride - 1 mile run

  All participants must wear a helmet at all times on their bike, have working brakes and bar end caps.

  Distances by age. USA Triathlon rules state that age is determined by the the participants age as of December 31st of the race year, so, he/she may be in an older age group than the age he/she is on race day.

  Participants must hold a current USA Triathlon membership on day of event. Annual USAT youth memberships can be purchased for $10 through race registration, this is required for sanctioning purposes and the event insurance.

  Transition will open at 10:15am and Ages 6-8 will race at 10:35am and Ages 9-12 will begin after the Ages 5-8 finish. The kids race will be timed

  Northeast Oklahoma is blessed to have some of the most beautiful and green, rural scenery in our great state. This ride really stands out because it also puts small town charm on full display. Tour de Cowtown is held on the same day as the Coweta Fall Festival, one of the last small town festivals left in which the community actually shuts down main street and comes together to party with rides, food, parades, bands and pie auctions. It’s as close to Mayberry as we get these days and if you’re family is tired of you running off on them to play bikes, this is the perfect event to bring them along to, or stay after your ride with all of our bike friends as we take over the town.

  We have great rest stops and we ensure that by pitting the rest stops against each other for the coveted prize of best rest stop as voted on by the riders. We will be cooking up some good food at the finish line when you get off the bike as well.

  We have plenty of porta potties so no one finds themselves in a tight spot.
