Location: Olmstead Staging Area, 7200 St. Florian Ct, Cool, CA 95614 (behind the fire station).Parking: $10 daily fee.Overnight Camping: Available Friday

Portable restrooms, water troughs, and running water available.Event Categories:Ride & Tie: Two participants, one horse, switching relay-style or staying together.Equathon: Rider and runner start together; total time = horse pulse-down time + runner finish time.IRON Equathon: Total time = horse pulse-down time + run time.     Close out 2026 with a bang and race your 50K or Half Marathon on a beautifully scenic race course.Generous 9.5-hour cutoff for the 50K and 5-hour cutoff for the Half Marathon, so hikers are welcome and trekking poles are allowed.High-quality finisher's medals and race shirts.Thrilling surprises along the race course.Limit 200 runners total.

    Parking

    Parking fees are NOT included in your registration. Please display your Golden Poppy Pass or purchase a day use pass $10 (exact cash) as you enter the parking lot.Volunteers will direct you to park in the Day Use Lot or overflow parking on Haul Road. Arrive early for the best parking spots.

    Cut-off times

    50K 9.5 hours at the finish line with a mandatory intermediate cutoff time at Robie Point Aid Station at 2:15pmHalf Marathon 5 hoursEach course is hiker, back-of-the-pack friendly.

    Packet Pick-up

    Early Packet Pick-up is on Friday, December 11th 3-7pm at Auburn CrossFit 858 High Street, Auburn, CA 95603.Race Morning Packet Pick-up is Saturday, December 12th 5:45am to 7:30am at the Race Start (Cool Staging Area).
