The American Cancer Society proudly presents the 8th annual February Freeze 5K Timed Run and 1 Mile Walk on the Holiday Lighted River Walk in Pigeon Forge.
Come join the fun and excitement of the February Freeze 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN and travels along the RiverWalk and holiday Winterfest lights. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
Where and When - The February Freeze 5K Run/Walk begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 7 in Pigeon Forge, TN with registration from 4:00 PM-5:45 PM.
Friday, February 6 from 4-7 you can stop by the Margarittaville Hotel at the Island to pick up your packet and shirt also enjoy a reception provided by the Hotel. For the discounted hotel code for Friday and/or Saturday night stay at the Margarittaville Hotel email Angela.mathis@cancer.org
Cost and Cause - The cost of pre-registration is $25 for adults and $20 for Students K-12. Race day registration is $5 more for each. All money raised goes to the Sevier County Relay for Life which benefits the American Cancer Society. A great cause!

Race Day Registration: Runners/Walkers can register the day of the race from 4:00 - 5:45 at the registration at the Margaritaville Hotel. (Day of is not guaranteed a shirt and bag)
Results - Race results will be available via the Terra Running Company.
T-Shirts - Runners and Walkers registering prior to Feb 3 will receive the official February Freeze 5K t-shirt. Any registration after Feb 3 will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. (We have ordered extra)
T-shirts & bibs available for pick up on Friday, Feb 6 at the Margaritaville Hotel at the Pigeon Forge Island from 4pm-7pm. The day of the event shirts and bags will be given out at the end of the race instead of at checkin. This is to help you not have to keep up with them during the race/walk. If you want your items before the event, please do early check in on Friday.
Awards - The Top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards. There will also be classification awards given to age groups in male and female for top 3.
Refreshments - Refreshments will be available after the race.
Race Day Etiquette - Due to our insurance policy, no rollerblades or bicycles will be allowed in the race.
Refund Policy
February Freeze has a NO REFUND policy. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.
Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.
Event Cancellation / Modification Policy
If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

February Freeze in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.

Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between February Freeze and local officials

Financial: It is not financially feasible for February Freeze to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.

February Freeze does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
Event Shirts
Event shirts are NOT guaranteed to participants registering within 1 week of each event. Please register prior to 1 week prior to guarantee your race shirt size.
