Sparks Bike and Trek

Tune your bikes and dust off your shoes and come join us here in Sparks, NV on April 11, 2026 for the second annual Sparks Bike and Trek. Put on by Northern Nevada Adventure Racing.

Spring in Nevada is pretty amazing, as are the trails. Should be prime weather and good conditions for grabbing a bunch of CP's then reliving the occasion with friends and some prizes afterward.

Mandatory gear are the same as Bend Racing's requirements for biking and trekking. (bendracing.com/mandatorygear)We do ask that you bring a whistle and Bike bell, if not already listed.

Pre-race brief at 7:30am, the course opens at 8am, and closes at 2pm. Approximately 12 to 17 biking miles and 7 trekking. We will be allowing people to start after 8am but no later than 10am, in case people want to do either the bike or trek sections exclusively. This race has enough challenge for seasoned racers and beginners alike. We'll be near the Golden Eagle Regional park at the Pah Rah Trailhead in Sparks, NV.

In case of inclimate weather, we will have alternate CP's (last time there was snow and sleet).
