Denver is the ultimate playground for the outdoor-obsessed, home to a culture that prioritizes health, mountain-fresh air, and a rugged sense of adventure.   This exclusive one-day event takes over the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, a premier rustic-inspired resort with sweeping views of the Front Range. The one-day schedule is packed with intensity, leading off with the DEKA FIT Ultra for those looking to maximize their lap count. Individual athletes will then hit the floor for the Elite and Age Group heats, along with the weighted challenge of the Ruck waves. The day concludes with the high-speed coordination of 2-Person Teams, giving you the chance to leave it all on the floor in the shadow of the Rockies.

  ATHLETE JUDGE PROGRAM

  DEKA is truly a fitness movement we all created together. To ensure a professionally judged racing experience for all athletes, we ask all registered athletes to participate in the DEKA Athlete Judge Program at DEKA FIT events.

  How it works:

  If you are registered to race this event, please use the Denver DEKA FIT Athlete Judge Sign-up Form to select your preferred Athlete Judge time.

  Within 1 hour of finishing your race (or anytime before your race), make your way to the Athlete Judge check-in area at Zone 1 to begin your 60 minute volunteer judging time.

  M1LE Nation Challenge presented by Front Range Elite

  Race Dates: May 30 - June 7, 2026

  One mile. One nation. Your best time. We’re bringing runners together for a nationwide mile race, and there are two ways to cross the finish line.

  Participate from your favorite local path by submitting your time between May 30 and June 7, or feel the energy of the crowd by joining our live race at the CSU Track on June 7, 2026

  Team Competition- M1LE Nation

  The four-person team event will be scored cross-country style. Each participant will run one mile, and the total time from all four runners will be added together- the lowest combined time wins! The team registration fee is one flat fee for the entire team, not per person.

  1st- $600 prize purse split between top male/female team

  2nd- Roll Recovery slides for each team member

  In-Person options:

  June 7th at the Colorado State University track. We will hit the track together to walk, run, or race, with on-site support to help you upload your results. Post race massage provided by Tikva Performance Massage. And yes, brunch is included!

  Open Waves

  9:30am - walking/jogging wave

  10:00am - 9:30/mile or faster

  10:15am- 8:30/mile or faster

  10:30am - 7:30/mile or faster

  Youth participants will start according to age group

  10:45am - Elementary

  11:15am- Middle

  11:30- High School

  Elite Waves

  11:45am < 6:30/mile (Women)

  Noon- < 5:15/mile (Men)

  Rocky Mountain Road Runners holds a monthly Trophy Series in the Denver area. We provide a low-key, low-cost racing environment. Everyone is welcome to run with us!

  The race uses a handicap start system, slow-to-fast, spread over ~13 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to win. We'll use your estimated finish time to assign you a start time with others the same speed.

  Race Day Details

  Date: Sunday June 2nd

  Time: 8 am start. Show up at least 30 minutes early to get your bib and warm up!

  Location: Bible Park in Denver.

  Course: The course runs through Bible Park on a mix of paved and crusher/fine surface

  Parking: From I-25, exit at Yale. Go east past Monaco Parkway. You’ll see the park on your right. Turn right into the park entrance and proceed to the parking lot. The run starts to the east of the parking area, near the tennis courts.
