  Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

  Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

  Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

  Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

  Come out for Celebrate Trails Day on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail! Saturday, April 25th,take on whatever distance you prefer, from one mile to sixteen! All races are out-and-back on the SWT’s flat, hard-packed fine crushed stone surface.

  Proceeds will support the Northwest Area Cross Country Program’s Running Rangers Fitness Camp. The Running Rangers is a four-week Summer camp that will help teach fourth-sixth grade students the benefits of running and fitness. Your support will go toward providing each student-participant a pair of running shoes, team shirt and more.

  Race Format:

  The Sweet 16 and Half Marathon will begin at 8:00am, followed by the Mile, 5k, and 10k at 9:00. Water Stations will be available for all distances except the Mile.

  Race Swag:

  As we did last year, we will be using an "Ala Carte" method of race swag. Many of you have expressed that you don't need another t-shirt, medal, etc. and that you just want to support the Running Rangers program and enjoy a day out on the trail. So, we've cut the cost of registration and you can choose from a series of add ons to customize your race day swag bag! Race add ons are available until April 1st. Limited quantities of extra add ons will be ordered and will be available for purchase, first come first serve

  Please join us for our annual walk, run, ride event at Knoebels Theme Park in Elysburg, PA. The run is a 5K that originates at pavilion "M" at the park and goes through the beautiful countryside. There are free refreshments and hot-dogs to follow as well as a quick ceremony to celebrate the winners! This race is a fundraiser for our local Pregnancy Care Center "Corner of Hope" and all proceeds go to help local moms and dads in need.

  Join us for our second annual fun run & walk 5K as all profits go towards Columbia Country Christian’s men’s and women’s soccer program. Following the race, you take can part in Rohrbach’s strawberry seasonal activities that are happening or enjoy a delicious meal at Big Dan’s BBQ – there is something to do for the whole family!

  Register by April 25th to guarantee running tech t-shirt with race logo (color to be announced later). Shirts are not guaranteed after April 25th. You can register the day of the race from 8:30-9:30.

  Prizes for overall male and female winners as well as winners in the age group brackets (which will be determined based on number and ages of participants)

  The course itself is an out-and-back of rolling hills on the paved roads in the rural area near the farm. Packed with beautiful scenery and some challenging short climbs, racers last year enjoyed the race (and post-race activities). We will begin and end at the farm.

  Come run our flat 5K course along the Susquehanna River in Bloomsburg. Join us before and after at The Farm in Bloom on the river for food, libations, and music by Todd Cummings. This year's festival will include activities from a number of community organizations and businesses, including a photo booth and kids' obstacle course. The race will be followed by a trivia contest. All of this fun will help the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard feed families and elementary-aged children in the Bloomsburg area. Your race registration fee will provide fresh produce for a small family for a week and give you a race T-shirt, chipped race timing, a special beverage, and hand-crafted medals for the top 3 male and female finishers and top finishers in each age group.
