Fighting Parkinson's Step-by-Step Walk

Fight Parkinson’s disease by joining us for our annual walk in support of the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego!

By supporting Step-by-Step, you empower PASD to provide essential resources to thousands of individuals impacted by Parkinson’s disease in San Diego County. Your assistance is vital in maintaining our outreach and capacity to serve the community.

Every contribution stays within the County, providing aid to local caregivers and families of those in need. Lace up your walking shoes to be a valuable resource and unwavering ally for people with Parkinson’s disease!

Participant can choose to walk or run, with options for the 5K or a shorter 2.5K.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Thru February 1, 2026: $40

February 2 - April 1, 2026: $50

After April 1, 2026: $60

Youth (12 - 17): $10

Children under 12 are FREE, but a donation is suggested. Dogs are FREE too!

SHIRT AND BIB PICK-UP DETAILS:

Bib and shirt pick-up can be done in advance of the walk or on event day. For teams, team captains are highly encouraged to pick-up for their entire team. We will have the team bibs/shirts together in a box! Here are the pick-up times/locations:

Wednesday, April 8th, 3 - 6p: Road Runner Sports, 5553 Copley Dr, San Diego, CA 92111

Thursday, April 9th, 3 - 6p: Road Runner Sports, 5617 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92008

About the Campaign

Join us for the 2nd Annual Love & Time, Me AND Mom 5K Walk/Run at Liberty Station, where together we can champion women’s mental well-being in a vibrant, supportive community!

Bring your family and friends and be part of an uplifting day filled with purpose and connection. Every dollar raised directly supports free mental health services for women facing complicated pregnancies. We can’t wait to walk, run, and celebrate with you!

We’re thrilled to welcome children and furry friends! (Please help us keep the park clean by picking up after your pets.) Every participant will receive an exclusive event T-shirt and a finisher’s medal to celebrate their achievement—plus, special medals await our top three finishers!

Bib and T-shirt pickup is scheduled for April 24th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Road Runner Sports, 5549 Copley Dr., San Diego, CA 92111. During this time, participants will receive their official race bibs and event T-shirts. Please bring a valid photo ID or your registration confirmation for verification at pickup.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled pickup, you may collect your bib and T-shirt on race day. Early check-in will be available starting at 7:00 AM sharp at the event site. To avoid delays, we recommend arriving early and having your identification or registration confirmation ready.

5INCO DE MILES y Las Millas de Oro SD (cinco de mayo and the golden miles).

5INCO DE MILES y Las Millas de Oro SD is a fun, festive race celebrating Cinco de Mayo in the beautiful Chula Vista Bayfront. Created to bring more running events—and more mile races—to the South Bay San Diego community, this event welcomes runners of all ages, speeds, and experience levels.

Set along scenic Bayside Park, the course is perfect for athletes chasing fast times and families looking to enjoy an active holiday together.

Race Options

• 5K – Open to all runners and walkers

• Open Mile 39 and under

• Masters Mile – For athletes 40+

• Kids’ fun 1k – Ages 13 and under

• Doggy Mile – A fun, untimed mile for participants running or walking with their pets

Giving Back 🐾

Doggy Mile proceeds benefit Kane’s K9s & Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping abandoned and at-risk animals find loving homes.

Inspired by Mexican heritage and the Battle of Puebla, La Batalla de las Millas blends culture, competition, and community into a unique Cinco de Mayo running experience—because every mile deserves to be celebrated.

START LOCATION: One Park Blvd, San Diego – between the Hilton Bayfront and Convention Center

FINISH LOCATION: Tidelands Park, Coronado

START TIME: 8:00am starting with timed runners then walkers in multiple corral starts. All participants will start before 8:45am.

COURSES: Scenic 4 mile point to point course takes you through downtown, over the Coronado Bridge, down to Tidelands Park. Our 10K course runs the same route then continus through a flat and fast section through Coronado Island.

YOUR ENTRY INCLUDES: High quality commemorative t-shirt and fantastic finisher medal!

RACE NUMBERS: Mailed to you if registered by May 8th, free of charge!

PACKET PICKUP: Saturday, May 16th 9:30am-2:30pm at RoadRunner Sports 5553 Copley Dr, San Diego. Pickup your bib and t-shirt (and merchandise if purchased).

RACE MORNING PICKUP: At the start line area beginning at 6:30am.

FREE TRANSPORTATION BACK TO START LINE FROM FINISH: Participants can select a shuttle bus or ferry after the event, free of charge!
