Join us for the 32nd Annual Martha's Vineyard 5K Memorial Road Race to support Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha's Vineyard!

Sunday, May 24th, 2026 | Summercamp Hotel, Oak Bluffs | 10:00 AM

Runners will follow a beautiful USATF certified course around Oak Bluffs harbor and East Chop Lighthouse. There is also a 1-mile kids’ fun run that starts in front of Summercamp Hotel. We will have an option for runners who will not be able to be on Island on race day to choose a virtual race that they can run on their own, from anywhere. Virtual runners can send in their times, but will not be eligible for place medals.

HPCMV is a vital resource for palliative, hospice, and bereavement care serving our entire community on Martha's Vineyard. Proceeds from the race allows Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard (HPCMV) to continue providing expert-level end-of-life care for patients and their families, whether they be at home, in the hospital, or a long-term care facility; as well as bereavement counseling and grief support groups for people in the community experiencing recent loss.

Online registration is $30, in-person registration is $35. 5K Run/Walk Starts at 10:00 AM. 1 Mile Fun Run Starts at 9:30 AM

Bib pick-up and check-in: May 23rd, 3-5 PM & May 24th, 8-9 AM - lobby of Summercamp Hotel in Oak Bluffs. Limited supply of T-shirts available.

    The Paul White Road Race course is 4.81 miles. The race begins and ends at 6 Chester Street, North Falmouth MA, between North Falmouth Library and Megansett Park on the site of the former Paul White's Market. The course has three moderate hills, the last one being the longest and right before the finish line.

    This race was created to commemorate local legend Paul White and to serve as the main fundraiser for the North Falmouth Village Association. The monies raised will be used to fund NFVA operating costs and 4 college scholarships for North Falmouth graduating seniors.

    T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 at all Bib pick-up locations and on Race Day.

    Immediately following the race refreshments will be available for participants and awards will be awarded to Top 3 male and female finishers in each age category.

    REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 10PM, THURSDAY, AUGUST 6th, (SUBJECT TO OVERALL LIMIT OF 1,600 RUNNERS)....

    • Sign up for the race

    • Pick race shirt size

    • Have the opportunity to purchase additional race gear (hats, sweatshirts, speciality tees and tanks, etc.)

    • Make an additional, optional, donations to the Chilmark Community Center

    All pre- ordered merchandise will be available for pick up at the Center along with your race shirts, numbers and information. NO SHIPPING!!!

    Fees:

    $35 ages 12 and older, $25 ages 11 and under. Entry fee includes a race t-shirt and personalized bib (for entries prior to July 20).

    Race Store Only:

    STORE ONLY CLOSES AT 8:00pm, AUGUST 3rd. Shop for race gear if not registering for race.....Starting at 8am on July 1st and continuing to 8pm on August 3rd. All items must be picked up at the Center at check-in. NO SHIPPING!!! Have a friend pick-up if you can't get to check-in.

    Check-in:

    Check-in will be 5:00-7:00pm Friday, August 7th and 8:30-9:30am Saturday, the 8th.

    Awards:

    Prizes will be awarded to men and women by age groups: 8 years and under, 9-11, 12-16, 17-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90 and over.

    Bus:

    A bus will provide transport from Vineyard Haven to Chilmark for runners taking the 8:15 am ferry from Woods Hole arriving in Vineyard Haven at 9:00 am.

    Miscellaneous:

    Net proceeds benefit the Chilmark Community Center. (Fees do not include processing & service charges.) No refunds. No exchanges or transfers, without express permission of the race director.
