The 29th Annual Victory Over Violence Walk/Run takes place Saturday April 18, 2026. This USATF certified 5K Walk/Run and a 1K Fun Run starts at Trinity Park Duck Pond near downtown Fort Worth and winds through Trinity Park. T-shirt, food, beverages, a huge children’s area and more are included.

Benefits the anti-violence programs of The Women’s Center of Tarrant County. The Women's Center serves over 100,000 each year by inspiring and empowering women, men and children to overcome violence, crisis and poverty.

As this is a military installation, ALL participants must register and have a race bib to access the race course. NO EXCEPTIONS. Spectators and those without bibs may be in the finisher festival area.

Welcome to the 4th Annual Navy 10 Miler, hosted by NAS JRB Fort Worth, the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.

The base dates back nearly 80 years; but, this is our 3rd annual 5 and 10-mile event open to anyone who registers. This event provides you the opportunity to see the many aircraft that are stationed aboard the installation. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just getting started, the Navy 10 Miler will provide you with an unforgettable running experience.

SERIOUS FUN

Geared for both experienced and novice runners, this flat 5 & 10 mile course will provide an excellent opportunity to SHATTER PRs and will be clearly marked with water stations along the way. The 5 miler provides the same air power excitement as the 10 miler in a smaller package! In the fans’ section, we’ll have a finisher festival featuring a variety of vendors and food trucks. Everyone is sure to have a good time!

The Navy 10 Miler is hosted by NAS JRB Fort Worth’s Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) team. MWR provides a variety of services and programs on base to support the mission of the service members.

Run wild in the city!

Run a FAST 5K or 10K trail loop in the city, and be done in time for brunch!

The course is unexpectedly rural: a grassy jeep track in the heart of Downtown Fort Worth, along the Trinity River.

• Easy loop cross-country course: 3 climbs per loop! 1 loop for 5K, 2 loops for 10K

• Water at the far end!

• Water, sports drink & snacks at the start/finish!

• NOTE: This is a Trail Race. It's mostly GRASS with some gravel, asphalt & concrete.

We look forward to coming together on May 9th for a meaningful morning that brings our community together to honor and remember our loved ones we have lost through a meaningful 5K timed race, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and family-friendly activities in the Kid Zone.

(If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)
