Join us for the 8th annual Shamrock Run 5K and 1-Mile, which takes place on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at the Canfield Fairgrounds.

The race will start and finish at the Colonial Inn, race entry includes 2026 finisher medal and limited edition t-shirt. SHIRTS ARE ONLY GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRANTS THROUGH MARCH 1st! The race is in memory of Leslie Topoleski, proceeds benefit diabetes awarness.

5k Awards: Top 3 overall men and women.

Top 3 male and females in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Packet pickup will be held at Second Sole, (755 Boardman Canfield Rd, Boardman, OH 44512) on Friday 3/13 from 11-5PM, and on Saturday 3/14 at the Colonial Inn starting at 9 AM.

    Level 2! This group is designed to build on knowledge of running and track events from the previous year.

    *Participants must be at least 9 years old and have participated in a previous season.

    Who Can Join: Kids Grade K - 6. *Must be 5 years old to participate.

    What: Get out, get active, and learn about Track and Field! Each week kids will be broken into groups based on their age and rotate through multiple events learning about each one: Events include: 100 meters, Hurdles, Long Jump, 4x100 Meter Relay, Throws, and 1/2 Mile Run.

    What's Included: T-shirt, Water and a Fruit Snack following each week's event, and free registration into "The Mile", a 1-Mile Run/Walk event held on May 24 (week 5) at Boardman High School.

    Cost: $55 per child

    THE MILE: Held on the 5th week, a 1-Mile walk/run to celebrate the accomplishment of our participants. Family members are encouraged to register HERE.

    • All pre-registrants (received by April 17th) will receive a t-shirt and/or medal & refreshments.

    • Come dressed to run. Restrooms are available. Store opens at 9:00am. Awards ceremony immediately following the race. NO Pets. NOT stroller friendly. NO early packet pick up.

    • The kids run begins at 9:00am. The 5K run/walk begins at 9:30am.

    • The 5K run is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

    • Cash awards to the top 3 overall 5K male and female winners. 1st: $100, 2nd: $75, 3rd: $50
