Your registration for the Lost and Found Gravel Festival supports Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship's Lost Sierra Route, connecting 15 mountain communities to promote economic prosperity through
recreation.
The Lost & Found course features a perfect blend of pavement, dirt road, gravel road, and historic railroad grade. Racers must choose their weapon wisely (Gravel Bike, Cross Bike, or Mountain Bike).
All routes start in Portola at the City Park and focus on riding up into the surrounding mountains and through some of the most beautiful and empty alpine valleys, California has to offer.
Participants can choose to race or simply ride the route and take advantage of the quality aid stations. Racers and riders from around the world will be invited to lose themselves and find this two-wheeled paradise.
Saturday ride and post-event fun in Portola with food, beer, live music, and dancing - the way we like to do it! Come join us for a great weekend in the Lost Sierra.

ONLINE registration for race closes on Thursday, September 9th at 5pm PST. You may still register on-site at packet pickup.
Registration for camping passes will remain open through Saturday at 10PM. Passes will automatically be sent to your email.

destination race in Northern California. Explore some of Nevada City’s most exciting trails with this brand-new half-marathon (13.1 miles) event. The course winds through towering pines, crosses a historic swinging bridge, and challenges runners with a series of rewarding climbs. With multiple aid stations, historical landmarks, and a newly constructed trail section offering varied terrain, this course rivals some of the best trail races in Northern California.
Runners will enjoy breathtaking views along the Tribute Trail and Deer Creek, combined with a beautiful variety of landscapes throughout the race. Best of all, the adventure begins right on Nevada City’s historic Broad Street — a truly unforgettable starting line!
The Champion Mine Trail Run offers a dynamic mix of pavement, gravel, and single-track trails, making it a must-do event for any trail enthusiast.
