Run the Archer Braid Trail!

We’re heading back to the southwest — Southwest Alachua County, that is! The Archer Braid 5K & 10K returns this spring, inviting runners of all levels to enjoy a flat, fast course along one of Gainesville’s most scenic paved trails.

The race begins at 8 a.m. at the Archer Braid Trailhead in Archer, with both distances following a smooth out-and-back route through quiet countryside. You’ll find a hydration stop with water and Gatorade at the 5K turnaround, and every race is professionally timed for accurate results.

🏆 Awards for overall winners and the top three finishers in each 10-year age group.

🚗 Parking: Available in the grass lot by the Archer Community Center (16671 SW 137th Ave, Archer, FL 32618), just a few blocks from the start line.

💲 Free for Florida Track Club members

$20 for non-members — and with nine free races and discounted entries throughout the year, it just makes sense to join!

    🌅 FTC Twilight 5K & Social

    Friday, April 10 | 6:30 PM

    West End Community Park

We’re changing things up this April and we’re bringing the fun to Friday night.

Join us for the FTC Twilight 5K & Social, an evening race at West End Community Park (the same location as Park Run), followed by food and time to hang out with your fellow runners.

    The Race

The 5K will start at 6:30 PM, giving you a chance to race as the sun goes down and the temperatures (hopefully) cool off. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just enjoying the miles, this is a great opportunity to kick off the weekend with the running community.

    After the Finish Line

Stick around after the race for food and a chance to relax and connect with other runners and friends. We’ll keep the good vibes going once the clock stops.

More details on course layout and logistics will be shared soon, but for now — mark your calendar and plan to join us for a fun evening of running and community.
