Founded in January 2016 by Magnus and Florian, Running Society Munich has grown from a small group of dedicated coaches and runners into a vibrant community of around 800 members. United by the mantra “Run fast, run hard, run often, run with us,” the crew embraces diverse training styles and distances, welcoming all skill levels with an emphasis on willpower and mutual encouragement. Weekly Monday evening sessions at ELBGYM Hofstatt blend interval runs with bodyweight exercises, keeping workouts fresh and engaging. The crew’s spirit reflects Munich’s dynamic urban landscape, drawing energy from iconic routes like the Englischer Garten and Isar River Trail, where natural beauty meets city life. Coaches Alexandra and Axel enrich the group with expertise and motivation, fostering a supportive environment that offers trial memberships for newcomers. By participating in key events such as Stadtlauf and HYROX Munich, Running Society not only strengthens bonds among members but also celebrates Munich’s lively running culture and active lifestyle.
