    Welcome to the 3rd annual MTC Zilla Tri Sprint Triathlon WITH NEW EXPANDED YOUTH SHORT SPRINT AGE GROUPS! This triathlon is a great event for all ages, 10 and up, beginners and seasoned athletes. Event hosted by the Metro-Tri Club. Race begins in the beautiful Bolm-Schuhkraft Park in Columbia, Illinois.

    The SPRINT event, open to ages 14 and up, begins with a 300 meter serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis pool. The 11.2-mile bike course has mostly flat roads with one challenging hill, and railroad crossing (time not adjusted for stoppage at train track). The bike is non-draft legal. The 5K run course will take you through a neighborhood, onto the trail, and will have plenty of shade.

    The YOUTH SHORT SPRINT, open to ages 10-17 years, will begin with a 200 meter serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis pool. The 6 mile bike course has mostly flat roads with one challenging hill, and railroad crossing (time not adjusted for stoppage at train track). The bike is non-draft legal. The 2 mile run course will take you through a neighborhood with plenty of shade.

    *NOTE: Athletes aged 14-17 may choose to race in either the Short Youth Sprint OR the Full Distance Sprint if they are seeking a greater challenge.

    Triathlon is USAT sanctioned. USAT rules require bar ends to be plugged. Drafting rules apply. USAT officials will be on course.

    Be sure to register by July 13, 2026 to guarantee a t-shirt in your size.

    Online Registration ends August 1 at 12:00 pm.

    Packet Pick-up:

    Saturday, August 1, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and Race Day 5:30 - 6:45 am, McDonnold Blvd, in Bolm-Schukraft Park, Columbia, IL.

    All athletes must pick up their own packet, NO EXCEPTIONS. Photo ID and USAT membership card are required. If you are not a USAT member you will need to purchase an annual membership or 1-day pass during registration. If you do not have your USAT membership card, you will be required to purchase a 1-day pass.

    Transition will open at 5:30 AM and close at 6:45 AM. Mandatory meeting with USAT official 6:45AM. Race begins at 7:00 AM

    Awards:

    In the SPRINT Race, Top Male and Female Finisher Awards will be given, as well as Top 3 age-division finishers for Male and Females: 14-15, 16-17 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and older.

    In the YOUTH SHORT SPRINT, awards will be given to the Top 3 age-division finishers for Male and Female: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, and 16-17.

    In the case of lightening the swim will be canceled and replaced with a 1k run for the Sprint Distance, 0.5 mile run for the Youth Short Sprint. In the case of severe weather the event will be canceled, no refunds/transfers. The race director(s) reserve the right to cancel or modify the race due to adverse conditions that make the race unsafe. In the event the race is canceled, it will not be rescheduled, and there will be no refunds. Awards and swag will not be mailed.

    Millstadt Biathlon & 5K

    TAKE THE CHALLENGE! The Millstadt Biathlon tests your fitness level along with your cycling skills! The biathlon consists of a 5 mile run run through scenic farmland, then grab your bike for a 22 mile ride. The high speed turns, rolling hills and scenic farmlands make this a can't miss event. The 5K run is an out and back course. Millstadt is located 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Join us for post-race beer and food afterwards! All proceeds go to the Millstadt Park Fund to help with many fun and exciting programs for kids of all ages.

    Race day registration is available onsite.

    The course closes at 11am, and anyone on course after 11am will be picked up by the trail vehicle.

    Join the Brentwood School District on September 19th for the third annual Brentwood Community 5K and Fun Run! This race is in partnership with the city of Brentwood’s annual festival Brentwood Days and is a fundraiser for Brentwood School District Student Experiences, including Project Graduation, Field Trips, and the all-new 6-12 Boosters Club!

    Run or walk this 5K course, which will highlight more than four of Brentwood's beautiful parks and trails. The race will be officially scored with chip timing by Start2Finish Race Management.

    For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, there's also a 1-mile fun run-- perfect for families and casual participants.

    Enjoy post-race snacks while top finisher awards are presented (see awards below). Register by September 1st before registration prices increase.

    Get ready to make history with us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as we commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Belleville Main Street Marathon and our Half Marathon being designated as the Road Runners Club of America Illinois State Championship Event!!! This year promises to be our biggest and most exciting event yet, and we want you there to help celebrate as you experience the excitement of running America's longest Main Street in the historic town of Belleville, IL, in the heart of America and just a short drive from downtown St. Louis, MO! Our anniversary celebration will feature fabulous swag, including the first 900 registrants will receive a pair of goodr sunglasses as part of their registration!!! And we encourage you to rise to the challenge of 26 (point 2) miles on the 26th, in '26 to receive even more swag!!! As you make your way down Main Street on race day, you will be greeted by enthusiastic volunteers on every corner, providing incredible support and cheers with the charm

    of a Midwest town. Both the full and half marathon courses are ideal for runners of all experience levels and include Main Street and other city roads. The full marathon is a USTAF-certified Boston Marathon qualifier that also includes about 10 miles on a paved trail. In addition to bonus anniversary swag, registrants will receive a soon-to-be your favorite everything T-shirt and finisher's medal. Post-race celebrations include Belleville's Bennie's Pizza Pub pizza, a special beer brewed just for you by Belleville's Shoehorn Brewing (for those ages 21 and older), and a DJ for a festive atmosphere. The Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon is a non-profit event, with proceeds reinvested back into our community (community food pantry, Belleville Parks and Recreation Department, and a college scholarship fund for Belleville high school students), with $20,000 being donated from 2025 race proceeds.
