Join us for a 5k that supports the growth and development of young adults! We’re raising funds to provide essential resources like curriculum materials, books, and supplies for our Discipleship School. Our aim is to empower these individuals on a transformative journey to discover their purpose and make a meaningful impact in all areas of their lives. By participating in this race, you’re investing in the next generation’s potential to live with clarity, intention, and a strong sense of identity.

What better way to welcome the cooler weather than with a fun run through beautiful Exeter? Starting at Exeter City Park, the course winds through our charming downtown—right alongside the scarecrows!

Bring the whole family and enjoy a morning of running, free food, live music, and small-town fun. Races take place Saturday, November 15, 2025—you won’t want to miss it!

Who We Support

A portion of funds from Scarecrow 2.0 along with your donations will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias. Their Club serves more than 3,200 youth in Tulare County each year. Membership gives a young person access to nationally-recognized programs and a safe and positive environment to learn and grow.

Get ready to join the community for the 23rd annual Tulare Santa Fe Trail-A-Thon 5k, hosted by the Tulare Sunrise Rotary Club! This fun and impactful event supports the club’s High School Scholarship Program, which in 2024 awarded a $5,000 4 year college and a $1,500 trade school scholarship to two Tulare High School seniors.

Event Details:

Date & Location: The race begins and ends at Live Oak Park, Tulare, offering a scenic route and plenty of space to enjoy the day.

Time: Onsite registration and bib pickup will run from 8:00 am to 8:45 am, with the race starting promptly at 9am.

Registration: This year we are charging a registration fee of $15 per participant. This fee helps cover the costs of the finisher and winner medals and the timing system costs. We will also accept donations this year.

Awards and Prizes:

Finisher Medal: All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and lanyard and Rotary participant pin.

Age Group Awards: Medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (Male and Female).

Fastest Runner Awards: The top male and female runners will each receive a special trophy and $100 gift card!
