10k 13.1 Miles Half Marathon Run Walk

Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Tieton for the fifth Never Say Never!!! This race is all about YOU! Every decision we make has YOU in mind. This is a race designed for everyone from first timers to seasoned racers to all of those in-between. It is a picturesque course with one sizable hill around mile 2 followed by flat road for the rest of the 10K and rolling hills for the remainder of the Half Marathon.

There will be NINE water stations this year. There are six bathroom opportunities, and lots of fans cheering you on along the way.

We are again partnering with BOX, a nonprofit organization founded by women, dedicated to building connections that support women and girls. In 2021 we donated $4,100 to the Highland School District, in 2022 we donated $2,000 plus products to Davis High School, in 2023 we presented a $3,000 check to Rod’s House plus a ton of period products, and in 2024 we were beyond proud to write an $8,300 to Children's Village. This was our biggest donation by far!!!! This year we are proud to announce we raised $9,000 for Yakima's YWCA!

We are so excited and proud to announce we will be raising money for Nathan's Place. When we started this crazy dream we raised money for Highland High School (unfortunately we did not have a race that year because of smoke) so, because this is our last year putting on the Never Say Never we wanted to again raise money for our hometown.

Nathan's Place was born just last year! Some amazing members of our community who noticed that our high school kids have no place to hang out after school dedicated their time and resources to create a gathering place. They have been worked tirelessly to make Nathan's Place more than just a dream. Nathan’s Place is a “safe, inclusive and supportive environment where [6th-12th grade] kids can grow through educational programs, mentorship, and mental wellness support.” Click here to find out more about Nathan’s Place. Your donations this year are going to make the biggest difference yet!

Flying pig trophies will be back again for first, second, and third place women and men runners and walkers for the Half Marathon and the 10K.

However, if even a 10K doesn’t sound fun come for the Finish Line Celebration Party! This is FREE to attend and welcome to all! Come cheer on the racers, get fabulous grub from Tacos Don Chayo, get refreshed with local beverages from Shorthead, Tieton Cider, and French Canyon Cellars, play yard games, partake in our raffle, and the WHEEL of FUN will be back again for even more prizes!

    7th Annual Yakima Mile -- Saturday, June 6, 2026

The course follows a one-mile, gradual downhill stretch of Yakima Ave. finishing in the shadows of Yakima’s historic Larson Building. Yakima Mile is open to kids, families, dogs, veterans, elite runners, and all those who want to run their fastest mile…. EVER (or walk, or jog... as you like).

The Elite Mile races bring together many of the fastest milers from around the nation in hopes of breaking the Fastest Mile in Washington – yet again – and taking home some big cash prizes. Sam Prakel currently holds the men's fastest mile in Washington time of 3:50.5 and Nikki Hiltz holds the women's record at 4:20.5.

Competitive races are stacked across the board with cash prizes – the total purse for 2026 is over $60,000. Including $10,000 across the TOP 3 groups by number of finishers. If you are interested in participating in the TRU-ly RAD Group Challenge at this year's Yakima Mile, reach out to hello@yakimamile.org
