As you no doubt already know, the Pre-Game 5K is now the Post-Game 5K and will be conducted over the same USATF certified 5K course on Sunday, Feb. 22. It is bittersweet to report that after nine fabulous years of memories, friendships and road races, the Barrel House Z Brewery has ceased operation.
The really great news is that the Vitamin Sea Brewery, that opened two years after BHZ and is two buildings up from BHZ closer to the race start, will now be host to both pre- and post-race festivities.
Pre-Race number pick-up will be at VSB on Saturday, February 21st from 2-5. Come by and grab your number and share a beer or two.
Day of registration and number pick up will be at VSB from 8-9:15 with the post race festivities to follow.
Registration is still open for the 5K & 0.0K(for those who don't want to run but would like a t-shirt & beer ticket).
Thanks to everyone’s patience, race day is going to happen and it’ll be a real hootenanny.
Just The Dip Food Truck will be on site selling all its "comfort foods"
A fairly flat USATF certified neighborhood course starting and finishing at Barrel House Z Brewery in South Weymouth.
Come and get a run in and socialize before the biggest football game of the year! One VSB brew is included in your entry fee (for those over 21!). Light snacks and a food truck will be available.
Regarding the Parent/Child teams, the maximum age for the child is 14 (approximate parity between girls and boys). When the parent picks and names a team, choose "Add Another Registrant" and add the child. Awards to the top-3, parent-child fun for all.
Puma shoes awarded to top 3 overall men & women and every 100th finisher. Mixed Team Awards. Gargantua, Jr. Gargantua and Mini Gargantua Trophies to Largest Teams.
