Piranhas Swim Club Splash for Cash

Welcome to the Juan de Fuca Royals Swim-a-thon 2026 Fundraiser!

This is a fun way to raise funds for the club while challenging our swimmers to go the distance. On May 24th swimmers will be participating by completing as many laps as they can during the Swim-a-thon and your donations are their motivation! We hope to raise at least $7,000 this year to help pay for swim meet fees, lane costs, equipment and more for our swimmers. Donations can be made through a swimmers individual page.

Triathlon can be an intimidating sport to get into. This event is a perfect place to start. Providing people a welcoming, supportive and fun triathlon experience. Who knows, you might love it and be ready to sign up for amazing local races after!

It starts with a 500m pool swim, followed by a 20km bike ride, and ending with a 4km run.

The swim is located at the Commonwealth Pool with transition in the parking lot.

You then head out onto the bike course which will be a 2 loop out and back along Elk Lake Drive (*map will be provided) and coming back into transition for the run.

Come out of transition onto the run, where you run part of the bike course and through winding neighbourhoods with slight elevations around the Commonwealth Pool area.

Non Tri-BC Members must pay Triathlon BC Day-of-Race Insurance at time of registration or purchase a Tri-BC Membership ahead of registration HERE

Fundraiser Information

• Athletes who make a donation to one of our charitable foundations: Saanich Fire and End2End will be entered to win a grand prize.

• If you haven't made a donation during registration you can do so from this page.

• Winner will be announced at the end of the event on June 7.
