The Granville Ambulance Chase & Food Truck Rodeo has something for everyone - from serious runners to families looking for a day of healthy fun. Proceeds to benefit the Granville Health System Foundation.

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026

Place: Historic Downtown Oxford

Start line will be on Main Street in front of the Courthouse. The Finish Line will be on Little John Street. The Race Course maps are at the bottom of this page. Main Street, Spring Street, High Street, and Littlejohn Street will have closures on Saturday morning for the safety of race participants.

10K Ambulance Chase - 11:00am

5K Ambulance Chase - 11:20am

5K Fun Run - 11:25am

1- Mile Family Walk - 11:40am

Kids Dash - 12:30pm

Food Truck Rodeo - 11:00am-2:00pm

Registration and Packet Pickup:

 Early Packet Pickup for Preregistered runners - Friday, March 20, from 4:30pm until 6:30pm at Tobacco Wood Brewing Co., 117 Wall Street, Oxford, NC

 Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up - Saturday, March 21 beginning at 9:30am at The Hub on Main, 100 Main Street, Oxford. There will be no cash payments accepted. Race Day registrations will be done online with credit card payments only.

Prizes /Awards:

  • T-shirts- T-shirts are given to the first 350 participants registered for the 5K, 10K, 5K Fun Run, and 1-mile Family Walk. Pre-registered runners will receive size preferences before those who register the day of the event.

  • Trophies- The top male and female finisher overall in both the 5K and 10K competitive runs receive a trophy.

  • Medals- An event medal is given to the first 300 finishers in the 5K & 10K races.

Rules & Regulations:

No skates, bicycles, roller blades or skateboards allowed on the race course without prior approval. Baby joggers, running strollers and participants in wheelchairs are welcome. Baby joggers and strollers will be asked to begin at the back of the race.

Pets are not allowed in the race, but they are welcome (on a leash) at the Food Truck Rodeo.

Discounts:

  • Community groups- Register with a community group of at least 10 people to receive a discount on your registration.

  • Students- anyone age 5-18 years old registering for the 5K, 10K, or Fun Run receive a discount that is automatically applied at checkout.

    Maria Parham Franklin and the MPF Behavioral Health team are committed to raising awareness around mental health and coming together to support the needs of our community. As May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re here to Stomp the Stigma surrounding mental health and to normalize seeking help when needed.

    MPF’s Stomp the Stigma will be comprised of 3 events;

    • The 5K Run/Walk, starting at 9am, begins and ends at the hospital and goes through downtown Louisburg

    • The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30am

    • The Kids Dash starts at 10am and takes place entirely on the grounds of the hospital

    Each participant receives a t-shirt and swag bag (*must register 2 weeks prior to the race to be guaranteed t-shirt and swag bag)

    Awards:

    Top 3 male and top 3 female finisher

    We'll also be giving out medals to the first 150 people who finish the race!

Designed to raise funds to support the maintenance of current greenways and the development of new greenways throughout Wake Forest, the National Trails Day 5K/3K is a timed walk/run for both children and adults. Strollers are welcome but will be placed at the back of the pack to allow runners a clear start.
