Join us for a turtle derby themed 5K trail race at Hopkins Farm Brewery on Saturday April 11th, 2026 to raise funds for local wildlife conservation

Race Goals

• Raise funds for Susquehannock Wildlife Society's local wildlife conservation efforts

• Raise awareness about turtle population declines and conservation efforts

• Build community between local wildlife conservationists, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts

• Have fun running around Hopkins Farm Brewery. Turtle costumes encouraged!

Packet Pickup

• Friday April 10th, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Susquehannock Wildlife Conservation Center (1725 Trappe Church Rd, Darlington, MD)

• Saturday April 11th, 2026, from 7:30 to 8:30 am at Hopkins Farm Brewery (3833 Rider Ln, Havre De Grace, MD)

Race Details

• Runners need to arrive at the start line at 9:00 am

• Brief introduction to the race from 9:00 to 9:10 am

• The race will start at 9:10 am

• Turtley awesome after party 9:30-11:00 am

• Beer available for purchase after 10 am

• Award ceremony 10:30 am

• The course will be a meandering 5K around the trails at Hopkins Farm Brewery

Giveaways

• Every participant will receive a wooden race medal

• Add a race tee shirt for $5.00

Awards and Prizes

• Awards will be given to the top three males and females in each age group

• Age groups: 10 and under, 11-18, 19-30, 30-50, 50 and over

• Prizes given to the most realistic turtle costume, most original turtle costume, best overall turtle costume, best group turtle costume, and best family turtle costume

After party

• After you are done racing, join us for the turtley awesome after party

• Awards and prizes will be presented at 10:30 am

• Live music and entertainment

• Grab a beer at Hopkins Farm Brewery

Join the fun on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 at 5:30 PM for The Southern Harford County Rotary's 2nd Annual Zero K Run at Independent Brewing Company! Yes, you heard that right—zero kilometers, but a whole lot of good times! It's an excuse to join your friends and community for a great time and raise money to support the community! Each participant will receive the full race experience including T-shirt and race bib. When the race start horn is sounded everyone will stand up......and sit back down!

The BAHS Music Boosters is a non-profit 501(c)(3) parent/guardian volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the musical experiences of those in the BAHS music programs. We support our students and directors by providing financial assistance, volunteer support, advocacy, and community engagement. Through fundraising and active involvement, we help ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow, perform, and thrive through music.

Gift cards will be awarded to the Top 3 Males & Females Overall Runners, and to the Top 3 Male and Female Student/Youth Runners (18 & under)

Please join the Mount Aviat community on Sunday, April 19th 2026 at 9:15 am for the 13th Annual 5K & Sister Walk.

Register now to receive pre-registration pricing which includes a race t-shirt. Pre-registration pricing is $30 per person, or $100 for a family 4-pack. T-shirts are not guaranteed after 3/30/26. Day of registration is $35 per person and does not include a t-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased online for $10 per shirt during the pre-registration period. Overall male and female trophies will be awarded as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each age grouping. The awards ceremony and refreshments will be held in the gym immediately following the race. Each race participant will be entered into a raffle to win prizes at the awards ceremony. Mass will take place before the race at 8:00 am at Holy Family Hall, located at the school. Packet pickup is in the school gym starting at 7:45 am.

Race proceeds will support the continued development of the newly created playscape. All students have access to the area and have thoroughly enjoyed using it so far.

Join us for our 4th annual Earth Day event and pay tribute to the Earth with an environmentally friendly race on the Ma & Pa Trail.

Wednesday, April 22, 2026 6:30 pm at the Ma & Pa Trail - Williams Street Entrance

In-person 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run, or Virtual 5K options are available.

All participants will receive our finishers medal, made out of sustainable materials, and a plant.

5K - $25/per person through Feb. 28, 2025 - $30 per person March 1 through race day.

1Mile - $20 per person through Feb. 29, 2025 - $25/per person March 1 through race day.

Virtual 5K - $30/per person through Feb. 28, 2025 - $35 per person March 1 through race day. Virtual Registration includes packet shipping.

Race Day Packet Pickup to start at 4:00 pm - Advance Packet Pickup TBD. Packet mailouts are available for an additional fee of $5.00.
