    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    High School: We also welcome our high school runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Makeup Date Information: 5/17/2026

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

The second walk will be held along the Macomb Orchard Trail on May 2nd with the Holland walk on May 16th being the last one of 2026. We are so honored to partner with our family, friends, and neighbors to stand together in this fight that many of our veterans battle alone. Join us in 1 or all 3 events and help us save lives. Our Macomb walk will take place along the Macomb Orchard Trail in Richmond, Michigan.

    Chasing El Chavo is a 5k run on gravel trails around the family-owned 150-acre orchard. This fiesta themed race will include a commemorative pint glass, t-shirt and after race can of hard cider and donut! After the race stick around for a fiesta themed party outside! Costumes are encouraged and the race is open to all ages. Strollers are permitted at you own discretion as the run will be on gravel. Pets will not be permitted.

    Please note, shirts sizes are on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed to those registered less than 14-days prior to the event. Inventory is kept up to date during registration. If sizes are not showing at the time of sign up, they are unavailable.

    The 6th Annual Run United is a family-oriented 5K run/1 mile walk fundraiser on May 3, 2026 at East China Township Park. The proceeds will benefit the United Way of St. Clair County. The race will begin at 11:30 am with a recognition ceremony at 12:30 pm. There will be first-place medals for each age group.

    The cost is $25 per runner or walker with a t-shirt if registered before April 25th ($35 if registered after April 25th*) and $10 per walker without a t-shirt if registered before April 25th ($15 if registered after April 25th*).

    Donuts, water, and swag bags will be provided for all participants and a t-shirt will be provided for runners and walkers registered with the t-shirt option by April 25th.
