Grab your friends, family, or coworkers and join us for the 2nd Annual NB Lung Run — a 2K/5K Run/Walk/Wheel taking place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, starting at 9 am ADT at Killarney Lake, Fredericton .

Whether you’re racing to the finish, taking a leisurely stroll, or cheering from the sidelines, every step helps New Brunswickers breathe easier.

Since 1933, NB Lung has been working to protect lung health and the air we all share. Join us this September 20 and help every breath count!

    U7 - swim 50m - bike 1.5km - run 200m

    U9 - swim 100m - bike 3km - run 400m

    U11 - swim 200m - bike 5km - run 800m

    12-14 - swim 300m - bike 5km - run 1.6km

    *Distances are approximate

    *Kids U5 will not have to swim and will only be in water up to their belly buttons.

    *Bike course is the crusher dust trail around Killarney lake (Approximately 1500m).

    *Run course is on grass and crushed gravel surfaces

    Join us on September 26-27, 2026!

    Choose from the following distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.

    There will also be a FREE kids run and 3k fun run on Saturday. Registration for Saturday's events are on-site only.

    All races take place along Fredericton's flat and fast trail network.

    Race shirts are only guaranteed for those that signed up by August 9th.

    Green Bib registrations offer a discounted package without a shirt or medal. This option is available until August 9th.

    Refund policy

    Registration fees for the Fall Classic are not refundable. If you are unable to attend, or if we are required to cancel the race due to safety concerns or in the event of a natural disaster, we will offer a virtual option and arrange for participants to obtain their medal and swag. You may also defer your registration to next year’s event.

    Transfers and deferrals

    We offer transfers and deferrals for a nominal fee. If you are not able to participate in the event for which you registered, you can transfer your registration to someone else or switch to another event. You can also defer registration (for yourself only) to next year’s event by registering for a deferral code through registration below.

    Please note transfers and deferrals must be completed by September 20, 2026.
