Come enjoy the beauty of Tennessee's most popular state park. Cooler temps, shaded run course, and the highest free-falling waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains are just a few of the attractions of the Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Runs. Post-race snacks and music for all participants. Centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Race start time is 7 AM Central Time.

Aid Stations & Athlete Amenities - Aid stations will have cups of WATER & GATORADE & will be at each of 5 stations on loop. ATHLETES ARE URGED TO CARRY A BOTTLE OR CONTAINER FOR RE-FILL. Additional information and clarification will go out August 1st. T-SHIRTS & FINISHER MEDAL/AWARD FOR EACH DISTANCE.

NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. Packet pick up is Saturday, August 15 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM CST & Sunday, August 16 from 6 AM to 15 minutes prior to each race start. Half Marathon will start at 7:00 AM & 10K at 7:15 AM & 5K at 7:30 AM . Pre-event information will be sent to participants the week of the event. 5K Map link here -10K Map link here - Half Marathon Map Link Here - Routes begin & end through the Taft Village area and across Fall Creek Falls Dam - 5K does an out & back on paved path through woods to LEFT after Dam - Half Marathon & 10K route goes RIGHT after Dam & follows paved path & park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls back to Dam and FINISH in Taft Village area. Half Marathon is TWO-LOOPS of paved bike trail / park road sections. Timing verification points will be along course. Aid stations each mile with water & Base Performance. Path route is completely shaded. Please stay on side of road marked with TRAFFIC CONES on the MAIN PARK ROAD of the course.

RACE LOCATION – Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN (please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!)

Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers, top male and female Masters (40+).Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Bald Eagle Events has enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete. Please review this option during the registration process.

Refund Policy - Bald Eagle Events has a NO REFUND policy. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.

Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

  1. Bald Eagle Events in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.

  2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Bald Eagle Events and local officials

  3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Bald Eagle Events to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.

  4. Bald Eagle Events does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.

    This race will take you on the trails of Cardwell Mountain located in McMinnville, Tn. You will traverse a trail of double and single track route with some rocks, roots and elevation. You will finish with a .88 out and back through the beautiful Cumberland Caverns Cave. You are going to want to be a part of this epic experience. We will offer 2 distances, 5K and Half Marathon. Both races will begin in an open field and run to the trail (about .30 mile to the trail). You will need a headlamp as you will be going into the depths of the cave.

    The 5k will be a single loop with 470 feet of gain. You will then run an out and back through the cave to the finish line. You will get a glow stick at the turn around point in the cave and carry this with you to the finish line.

    The half marathon will consist of 5 loops of the single and double wide trail. On the fifth loop you will then run an out and back through the cave to the finish line. You will get a glow stick at the turn around point in the cave and carry this with you to the finish line.

    Registration will include for each runner:

    Join us for our annual 5K/10K/1Mi Strawberry Chase this year as we celebrate both Rc3’s 10 th birthday and America’s 250th!

    The course is flat and fast through historic Downtown Dayton, TN. It begins and ends at the Rhea County Community Center and is professionally timed by Terra Running Company.

    The event raises funds to provide fitness equipment for the Rhea County Community Center, a non-profit wellness organization which seeks to build a healthy community.

    SCHEDULE:

     FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026: Packet Pick-up at Rc3 from 5pm - 9pm

     SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2026:

    o 6:30 AM – 7:30AM –DAY-OF REGISTRATION and Packet Pick-up

    o 8:00 AM - 5K and 10K start

    o 9:30AM - 1 Mile start

    o 5K - $35 (after April 17 - $40)

    o 10K - $40 (after April 17 - $45) *Finish cut-off 9:30am

    o 1 Mi Fun Run/Walk - $20 (after April 17 - $25)

    Awards: Participants will receive finisher medals(5K/10K)/ ribbons (1 mile) or medals that will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female, 1st place in age groups, and male and female Masters (50+) and Grand Masters (60+.) Strawberries, a 3-month membership to Rc3, and other gift certificates and prizes are also awarded to overall winners as well as to Masters/Grand Masters. Top 3 girls and boys, 12 years old and under and top 3 men and women, 60 years old and over will receive medals for the 1-mile race. All one-milers receive a ribbon.

     5k and 10k participants receive performance shirts. 1 milers receive a cotton shirt.

     Strawberries, bagels, water and more will be provided for runners.

     Strollers and dogs are welcome but will start at the back of the pack.

     10k is a double loop route. Must be completed by 9:30am.

     This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.

    Runners can pick up their race packets at the Hope Adoption Agency office located at 235 W. Main Street, Cookeville, TN on Thursday or Friday, May 7-8 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up race packets the morning of the race at 7:00 am. Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on a beautiful scenic route through Algood, TN.
