Packet/T-shirt Pickup Information

Race bibs and race shirts will be available for pickup at the Adams 12 Educational Support Center (1500 E 128th Ave, Thornton, CO 80241) Training Center in the Miners Creek room. You can access this room directly from the parking lot!

  • Thursday, May 7, noon-6pm

  • Friday, May 8, 7am-5pm

Materials can also be picked up on May 9, but you are highly encouraged to pick up prior to the day of the event. Please note that if you registered after the April 17 t-shirt deadline, t-shirt inventory and sizes are not guaranteed and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you will be picking up for a school group or other large team, please send an email to Lisle.M.Reed@adams12.org with your anticipated pickup date and time so that we have everything ready for you!

Traffic and Parking

More information to come, but as always, allow enough time to walk to the race start from the parking lot, carpool if you can, and be patient with your fellow humans.

What to Bring/What Not to Bring

  • Although this year's event is in May, this is Colorado, so please come prepared! This is a Rain, Snow, or Shine event and refunds will not be available due to weather or non-attendance.

  • This year we will have food trucks again! We will also have cuties and chocolate milk at the finish line, and there will be several water stations along the route, at the finish line, and at the Wellness Festival.

  • Strollers are welcome.

  • Dogs are discouraged due to the size of the event as well as park restrictions.

Adaptive Devices/Extra Assistance Needed

Please email Lisle.M.Reed@adams12.org if you will be using an adaptive device or need additional assistance, so that we can connect you with the person who will be your point of contact on the day of the event!

Wellness Festival

This year's Wellness Festival will be from 8am-11am in the grassy area by the start and finish. Vendors and community organizations will have family-friendly cultural and athletic activities, food samples, giveaways, and information for everyone (open to all - you do not need to be registered for the race to attend).

Mile of Smiles (1 mile inclusive route for all ages and abilities):

  • Free registration for students who attend a Title I school in Adams 12

  • $5 for all other participants

  • T-shirt included with registration

5K Run/Walk/Roll:

  • Free registration for students who attend a Title I school in Adams 12 OR who take classes at either Future Forward campus (sponsored by the Five Star Education Foundation)

  • $15 for all other youth 21 years and younger

  • $20 for Adams 12 employees and retirees (use coupon code AD12TEAM at check-out)

  • $30 for all other adults 22 and older (see opportunities for discounts below)

  • 25% discount for family registrations (four or more immediate family members living at the same address - use coupon code 2022FAM at check-out)

    Half Marathon, Marathon and 50K all Start at 7:00 a.m.

    If you want your name included on the finisher's medal ribbon, and to be guaranteed a finisher medal, you must register before March 20, 2026.

    The race will be held at Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton Colorado.

    A portion of all race proceeds will be donated to Almost Home, Inc. You can also give an individual donation by clicking on the donate button or adding a donation at checkout.

    The race will be held on a 1.31-mile loop course. The half marathon is 10 laps, the marathon is 20 laps, and the 50k is 24 laps. You're guaranteed a restroom and an aid station every 1.31 miles! There are also two other restrooms along the course.

    Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female in each distance (no duplicates)

    A race specific wicking beanie as well as a custom "scissors shaped" medal will be given to all finishers with the runners' names on the ribbon. You must register before 3/20/26 to be guaranteed a medal and to have your name included on the ribbon.

    A custom 16 oz. pub-style glass will be given to all registered participants.

    New this year: You may opt out of the beanie and/or pint glass for a race discount.

    Packet pick-up will be at Something Brewery, 117 N. Main St., Brighton, CO (on the back patio if the weather is nice, in the back room if it is not) from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm the night before the race. Race day packet pick up will be at the Riverdale Regional Park pavilion and will include the bib and pint glass; it may not include the swag bag.

    Virtual Option - You may run your distance any time from April 17, 2026 to April 26, 2026. Instructions on reporting your time will be sent out prior to 4/17/25. You will receive a race medal with your name included on it if you register prior to 3/20/26 and a distance-specific beanie. Pint glasses are not included but may be purchased separately at the race store.
