Run Description:

Join us for an informal run through the charming town of Washington. The course is 13.1 miles of beautiful country roads, featuring scenic views of lakes, ponds, and expansive farmland. Please note that this run is not suitable for novice runners, as it includes many hills and an elevation gain of 787 feet. The roads will remain open, and self-service water stations will be available every few miles.

Awards:

Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male, Female and Non-Binary Runners.

A finisher medal is guaranteed to particpants who register before date TBD.

The Sharon Sprint Triathlon offers a challenging course yet small town charm making this an ideal event for both the experienced triathlete and the first timer. We encourage team and youth particpation in our event. We look forward to seeing all of our returning participants and newbies alike!

Run - 4.1 miles

Event details and schedule

We will be at the Sharon Town Beach at 6:30am the day of the event for packet pick up. We start the event at 8am sharp! Parking on the road is advisable. Those in the lot must stay parked until the event is finished. Awards: male/female overall; m/f age groups 1st-3rd; teams, m/f/mixed/youth.

This winery was called "the Hudson Valley's Flagship winery" by The New York Times! So come out and join us for this amazing event! Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Join us for the 14th anniversary of the Roe Jan Ramble Bike Tour! It's free to all participants and is sponsored by the towns of Copake, Hillsdale and Ancram, NY on the border of Massachusetts. There are 6 routes to choose from (10, 18, 25, 35, 50 miles, and 62.5 miles/100km) on quiet country roads in some of the most beautiful scenery of the Hudson Valley & Taconic foothills you've ever seen.

While the ride is free, we encourage donations to support the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, a publicly accessible trail managed by New York State Parks Department that connects walkers, cyclists and recreationalists from Wassaic to Hillsdale, NY with plans to continue north.

Our ride starts and ends at Copake Memorial Park, 305 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516. The 62.5 mile/100km and 50 mile routes start first at 8:30 AM, the 10 mile route leaves last at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026. On-site parking is free. Check-in starts at 7:30 AM.

Note: You MUST wear a helmet to participate in the Ramble. Pedal assist e-bikes are permitted. Throttle e-bikes are not. Junior registrants (those under 18 years old) must bring a hardcopy of the registration form, signed by a parent or guardian. To print a copy, click here.
