Memorial walk/run to celebrate Barri Donnellan's life. All race proceeds will be donated to Angels of Light (501c3) who’s mission is to assist children and families living in the Hudson Valley with life threatening illnesses. The banner photo above was taken from the 2014 race at Tymor Park which Barri was volunteering -- she was off to the left when this photo was taken.

This years race honoree is Serena Brenner and in memory of longtime volunteer, Betty Colkin.

Serena suffered extensive brain damage at birth, and specialists said she wouldn't live past 4 years old. Serena is now 32 years old and has three younger siblings. She is a miracle and shines her light wherever we go to encourage others to think differently and be more inclusive of people. Together we support many non for profit charities that care for others and share our beliefs of including all people. We love going to concerts, the beach, Disney, going on the Walkway over the Hudson and church. Serena is also a source of strength as a Special Education Advocate in Ulster County for the Resource Center for Accessible Living.

The race will take place in the Village of Millbrook and head out to the new Bennett Park! We also have a virtual option available!

Race day registration and bib pickup opens at 8AM. Kid's 1/2 mile (12 and under) starts at 9:00 AM, 2 mile walk and 5k run start at 9:30 AM.

MHRRC kids races are always FREE if you preregister. 2 mile walk / 5k run is $25 for pre-registered and $30 on race day. There is a fixed family price of $75 for families with 4+ members. MHRRC club members get a $5 discount which will appear at checkout. Guaranteed t-shirts to all registered participants if registered by April 3rd.

5k & 2 mile Walk VIRTUAL: Register, complete the distance on your own between April 11 and April 18, submit your results and receive your giveaway. There are no awards for virtual option. Information on how to submit your results will be emailed out the week of April 4th.

We also have several options for making a donation (both business and family) such as in honor / memory of signs, mile markers, water stations, finish line and corporate sponsorships. Please click the "Donate" tab at the top of this page for more information. Email Lori Decker at info@angelsoflighthv.org with any questions.

Results will be streamed live on Chronotrack. Look for an email shortly before the race with a link to sign up for Athlete Updates via text message.

A Run to Remember is returning to The Farm Trails at Greig Farm on May 2nd, 2026. Join us to run in the spirit of competition or walk in the spirit of good health. Both fun and challenging, the racecourses are 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K* (6.2 miles) in length and meander through meadows, forest, apple orchards, and berry patches. Bring a friend or the entire family to enjoy a delightful spring morning as the farm awakens from its winter slumber.

*We've added to the fun this year with a 10K race that includes additional trails throughout the farm.

This event was created to honor our loved ones who have passed and celebrate the strength of our community. It's not only a tribute to those we’ve lost, but also a chance to come together, support each other, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re running in memory of a loved one or simply looking to connect with others, A Run to Remember was created for you.

**Cash Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall Male and Female. (5k and 10k races)
