PLEASE NOTE THAT BIKE AND RUN LEGS ARE 100% SELF SUPPORTED. NO TRAFFIC CONTROL WILL BE PROVIDED AND CYCLISTS/RUNNERS WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD. No course markings will be provided, so cyclists should bring GPS directions, or be very familiar with the roads in question. For those wishing not to ride the roads, cycling segments only may be substituted for a stationary ride on your bike trainer (at home or brought on deck). Stationary rides will constitute their own divisions and will be scored separately from road rides. For those racing in the cycling and running portions, you can expect to self report your times.

SWIM, BIKE, and RUN MAY BE DONE IN ANY ORDER YOU WISH, but must be completed during the same calendar day.

All racers will receive a race t-shirt (provided entry is received by 2/1), and a custom French Creek Racing award based on their finish place. Custom awards to top 3 overall and in each age group, in each event. No awards ceremony, but awards are available soon after all results are tabulated.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is strongly advised. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your assigned wave time. Check in at our table and pick up some swag. Swim caps are optional for the swim leg. You should select your wave start time during the registration process.

REFUNDS/DEFERRALS: No refunds will be issued. Bib transfers to non-registered people are NOT permitted.

A registered athlete may request a deferral to next year's event or a transfer to another French Creek Racing event if they do so at least 14 days prior to the event. A nominal fee shall apply.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:

For GPS directions, use the address: 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. There is plenty of parking on site.

Interested in volunteering? We'd love to have you! Please email erin@frenchcreekracing.com and we'll find the perfect job for you! To see our full lineup of volunteer jobs, go to www.frenchcreekracing.com/volunteer. Select the race, "Frozen Hare 2" to see the options for this event.

We will have a small amount of food and drinks available, but we do recommend bringing anything you need for yourself. Anything you need, please bring it from home! If you have a fever or any flu-like symptoms, please do not come to race.

Join us for the 5th Annual Mighty MoJo Memorial Run, in honor of our Molly Joan who fought fiercely for 44 days against Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at CHOP before passing away in September 2021. Our hope is to increase awareness of CDH, a condition as common as cystic fibrosis and spina bifida, and raise much needed funding to help make CDH a more manageable diagnosis for the future MoJos of the world. We've raised over $100,000 the last four years, and cannot wait for another successful event.

We are excited to offer sponsors and other supporters a fun-filled morning at beautiful Ridley Creek State Park. All net proceeds will go to CHOP’s CDH Research Fund, which is continuously coming up with innovative ways to help CDH babies have a better outcome and quality of life.

4.4 Mile Run and 1 Mile Walk

Try out this one-of-a-kind distance in honor of MoJo's days lived at this scenic local gem. Our 4.4 mile run will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10 am. The start and finish line will be on the service road along the paved multi-use trail right near Site 11 at Ridley Creek State Park and will follow one full loop along the trail. The race will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company.

We've also planned a 1 Mile Walk for those who prefer to go a shorter distance! The 1 Mile Walk will begin at approximately 10:05 am, and will go in the opposite direction of the runners, with an out and back course. Walkers are welcome to go further on the trail, but note that the after-race festivities and refreshments may not be available when you return.

This event is held RAIN OR SHINE. Remember, there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. Plan accordingly :-)
