We are excited to see you all on the course for our 13th annual Firehouse 5K! Over the past eleven years, we have raised over $31,000 for a variety of charities centering around autism support and education. This year, you can run the race alongside local firefighters and many supporters in this community. The course remains the same as previous years, a 3.1-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing at the firehouse. If running isn't really your thing, you're welcome to participate in a fun 2-mile walk. Immediately after the race, refreshments, and an award ceremony will follow.

And don’t forget — in addition to your race T-shirt, just like last year, the first 200 sponsors and/or race participants will receive our exclusive Firehouse 5K Finisher Medal!

5K Run & Walk for Asher's Playground in Bluebird Park

After the race - join us at the Edge to cool off and relax. (Free for participants). All are welcome.

All proceeds go to Asher's Playground in Bluebird Park

Asher came into the world early alongside his twin brother, Ashton. From his very first breath, Asher showed what it meant to be a fighter. Born with a complex congenital heart defect and rectal atresia he started his journey of resilience. Sadly after 2 years and 7 months Asher made his journey to heaven.

In honor of Asher’s beautiful life, we are raising funds to create something he would have absolutely adored. An inclusive, accessible playground where every child, regardless of ability, can play, laugh, and thrive.

In December of 2021, Captain Andrew Allman was suddenly and abruptly diagnosed with stage four gastric adenocarcinoma, a cancer attributed to his exposure to burn pits from his deployment with the U.S. Army to Baghdad, Iraq eleven years prior. Andrew valiantly fought this aggressive cancer for seven months. Unfortunately, on Father’s Day, June 19 of 2022, he passed away, leaving behind his wife of almost fourteen years, Sarah, and their three school-aged children. Despite the aggressiveness of the cancer and the harsh side effects of the chemotherapy, Andrew resolved to fight with everything he had. At the time of his diagnosis, he was bedridden, but perseverance and determination allowed him to regain some strength and he was able to go on walks during his "rally-period." At one point, he managed to walk three miles in one day with Sarah by his side. His drive to overcome the obstacles he faced are the inspiration behind this 5k.

Please join Legacy of Patriots for our 4th Annual Miles of Memories walk/run 5k. This will be an in-person event, but there is also a virtual option for our out-of-town supporters! Registration will remain open until the evening before the event. To guarantee you will receive an event t-shirt, please register no later than August 24th!
