Come join us for our 4th Year event that will feature a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run & Fun Run to help celebrate the Almont Heritage Festival Weekend!

Race HQ will be downtown Almont at the Entertainment Tent.

Day of check in and registration starts at 8 AM.

Kids Fun Run will start at 9 AM.

10K will begin at 9:15.

5K will start at 9:25.

Post race refreshments will include water, bananas, and donuts.

All Finishers will receive a medal. Event swag items for Adult 5K & 10K registrants. Awards for the top finishers in the 5K & 10K.

    Chasing El Chavo is a 5k run on gravel trails around the family-owned 150-acre orchard. This fiesta themed race will include a commemorative pint glass, t-shirt and after race can of hard cider and donut! After the race stick around for a fiesta themed party outside! Costumes are encouraged and the race is open to all ages. Strollers are permitted at you own discretion as the run will be on gravel. Pets will not be permitted.

    Please note, shirts sizes are on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed to those registered less than 14-days prior to the event. Inventory is kept up to date during registration. If sizes are not showing at the time of sign up, they are unavailable.

    This beautiful northern Oakland County trail run starts at Addison Oaks Park, to Bald Mountain before returning back to finish at Addison Oaks Park. The 15K or approximate 9.3 mile loop consisting of a mixture of single and wide track DIRT trails. The 30K will complete 2 loops. This event is for both avid and novice trail runners who share a love of all things dirt!

    If you love trails but are looking for a shorter distance try our 4 Mile Trail Run - totally inside Addison Oaks Park!

    **The course now uses a new trail that links the two parks via a crossing of Lake George Road. Runners should be aware of vehicular traffic when using this "cross walk".

    The Upland Hills School Trail Runs will take place on May 16th, 2026 beginning at 9:30AM.

    Come join us for our annual 1 Miler, 5K and 10K Trail runs through Upland Hills School Campus. Upland Hills Farm and Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

    Eastside Racing Company will be providing Timing Services and live results!

    Students at Upland Hills School (K-8) are actively involved in the planning and creation of the Trail Runs and will be participating. This is one of our largest fundraisers each year. Our students are incredibly excited to run, come join our GOATS Upland Hills Cross Country team and students and race the trails.

    Many experienced runners have shared that our race is one of the most challenging and beautiful trail runs in the area. We look forward to meeting you at Upland Hills Farm.

    Price Increases

    On April 5th, 2026 all races registrations will increase in price. T-shirts have limited availability.

    New Group Pricing!

    Any person who signs up a group of 10 or more runners earns a free entry into any race and discounted pricing for their group! Please contact uhsfunrun@gmail.com for more information.

    Awards and Giveaways

    Each participant will receive a student-made medal and a commemorative t-shirt. Child Registrations will include two tickets for our End-of-Race Raffle, and each Adult Registration will receive three tickets for our End-of-Race Raffle. Bibs, T-shirts and tickets can be picked up before the start of the races at the Registration Tables on the east side of the Picnic Shelter.

    Planning your Run

    • The Farm gates will open at 8:30am. Trails Runs start promptly at: 10K - 9:30 AM, 5K - 9:40 AM, 1 Mile- 9:50 AM.

    • Free parking, bathrooms, free snacks and water will be available on site.

    • Each participant will receive a medal as they cross the finish line. With an opportunity to customize your medal at the end.

    • The farm is open for exploring and food when you are not running! (Until noon). The Raffle will be held at the end of the Race.

    • Food will be available to purchase from our sponsors. (TBA)

    Our community donates creative and fun items for our End-of-Race Raffle for all age groups. Please contact us if you would like to donate a raffle item. Each participant will receive complimentary tickets for the raffle, additional tickets available for $10 each when you register or at the Race Registration Table.
