The Forges of the Anlier Forest

In 2017, four friends in Luxembourg, Dan, Stéphane, Yves, and Guido, spotted a gap in the local running scene. The social running crews existed elsewhere, but not here. They envisioned a place where runners could move together without pressure, where pace didn't matter and the finish line was secondary to the friendships built along the way. FatBetty.Run was born from that simple conviction, named after a challenging local hill that demands respect but rewards every effort. Today, the crew has grown into a thriving community of runners who gather every Thursday evening at the Independent Café, lacing up for 5K or 10K loops through Luxembourg's parks and streets. They run together. They explore together. They've become a central thread in the city's running fabric, connecting locals and internationals, proving that the best runs are the ones shared.
