If you LOVE cycling or blueberries or summer - you'll want to register early for this year's event! We expect a sold-out event again this year.

Invite Your Friends to the Ride: Tell your friends and family, your co-workers and biking buddies to come and ride or volunteer! Forward this link to them right now!

Spread the Word about the Cape Fear Cyclists: Encourage anyone who rides a bicycle to become a member of the Cape Fear Cyclists! Our club has a lot to offer all levels and types of riders - from gravel to road and from mountain to fat tire. JOIN HERE and you'll receive your to get all the perks for TDB 2026!

Volunteer: We need a variety of volunteers on ride day. You can volunteer AND ride! CLICK HERE to say "I'M IN!".

This is a great way to connect with other riders across our city, our region and the world. And, it's a great way to give back out our community. Last year, with your help, we raised over $10,000. Because of you, we'll be able to continue our tradition of giving back. We were able to donate our proceeds to Burgaw Middle School, the North Carolina Blueberry Festival Scholarship, the Terry Benjey Bicycling Foundation, the Hamstead Hams, Penderlea Volunteer Fire Department & more.

    The NC Blueberry Festival 5K kicks of a full Saturday of events during the 23rd Annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival featuring live music, craft vendors, a car and truck show, a pie-eating contest, and of course, lots of fresh blueberries. Runners experience the picturesque small-town charm of historic downtown Burgaw during the town's premier event of the year. The festival also hosts a non-competitive bicycle ride on Saturday morning - the Tour de Blueberry. There's nothing like finishing a brisk run or ride with some fresh, locally grown blueberries!

    The NC Blueberry Festival 5K Run benefits PATH.

    Pender Alliance for Total Health (PATH) provides access to an Integrated System of Care for Pender County youth, their families, teachers and staff. PATH works within the schools to promote wellness for all children and teens within the county.

    With school-based Health Centers and an integrated care approach, children can be seen where they spend most of their time - at school. Patients get seen the same day and parents don’t have to leave work and try to get an appointment with a doctor. Students miss less school and parents often don’t miss any work!
