The District Dash 5K Fun Run & Walk has been a great fundraiser for the Fall Mountain Educational Endowment Association (FMEEA) and the board is excited to bring it back in 2025. Through FMEEA grants, the money goes directly back into the Fall Mountain Regional School District community. Grant recipients have enriched the lives of students in the district by going on field trips, seeing plays and cultural shows, bringing hands-on learning into the classroom, and building the skills students need to become positive, active community members!

This event for all ages will take place at Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon, NH on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Pre-registration will begin on February 24, 2025 (fmeea.com/district-dash-5k). Same day-registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with a Fun Run for kids at 9:15 a.m. followed by the 5K Race at 10:00 a.m. Runners and walkers are welcome! The course will cover much of the Fall Mountain campus, using the access road, cross country trail, and a section of the track.

    • Please Join us for this "Old School", 8-week race series.

    • Participants in this series will enhance SRC's continuing efforts to provide scholarships to area high school students that plan to continue running collegiately.

    • Join us for this judgement free event. Participants have ranged from beginning walkers to sub 5-minute milers and all have had fun chasing their goals.

    • The races will start at 6:00 pm near the pavilion in Wheelock Park.

    • The course is 2.8 - miles in length on a flat, out and back twisty loop, with a Circle (because Keene loves circles)! Get ready for some fun and excitement!

    • Sign up here or on location race day.

    • Cost: $10. per event or $50.00 for the entire 8-week series. Students are half price, $5.00 per event or $25.00 for the entire series.

    • When registering a student: click "Sign Up" for the appropriate date, then use the red "Special Pricing" icon.

    • Receive your time while enjoying some light refreshments after the finish.

    • The event is conducted rain or shine but not lightning and thunder.

    • Cancelation Policy: Sorry, no cancelations will be permitted. Please consider your entry as a Tax-Deductible Donation.

    The race will run through the village of Walpole, starting and ending at Whitcomb Recreation Center. Parking is available at the Walpole Elementary School and at the Hubbard Farms building.

    Age categories for prizes are 6 & under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16+ (Adult), and 60+ (senior).

    Participants will continue with activities down by the basketball courts, including games and entertainment. There will be food trucks operating independently at the event.

    The Keene Family YMCA’s Fall Foliage Trail Races offer runners a great opportunity to explore some of Keene’s best trails, while supporting the charitable work of the Y.

    This unique race starts and ends at the Keene YMCA, where spectators and your fellow runners will be cheering you on. This year we’re excited to bring you an even better race experience, with options for those new to the sport and for the seasoned trail runner.

    Our 5K course is a great introduction to trail running, with a good mix of terrain that will give you a taste of what it’s like to run trails. This is a fast course, offering a great experience for beginners, and a potential PR opportunity for those with a bit more experience.

    The 10K course is a bit more challenging, though still very runnable with lots of smooth singletrack and plenty of elevation gain to get your heart pumping.

    All participants who register by or before September 1sr will get a race t-shirt. We should have some extras for late entries, but we can’t guarantee we’ll have your size so make sure to register early!

    Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups will be as follows:

    60 and over

    Chip timing is being provided by Tri-State Racing.
