LOW50k Runners!

We are so excited for our 5th Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K! February 7th!

The race will begin at 7:50am (5k) & 8am (50k) on Saturday February 7th, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds (3939 Swartzel Rd Farmersville, Ohio 45325).

Every runner/rucker who signs up for the 5k or 50k run/ruck will get an official 2025 LOW50k poster, a LOW50k drawstring bag, and a finishers medal included with sign up! Official race hooded pullover will be $25 and will be available for pre-order up until January 23rd!

Runners will line up outside of the clubhouse/main aid station area near the lake, and take off on a 5k looped course. Runners participating in the 5k will stop after one loop and runners participating in the 50k will go out for 10 loops. An award ceremony for each running event will be held as the majority of runners finish their respective races.

The course loops through the woods and around the lake. The trails are wide and very passable. The course does feature hills and a creek crossing (Not deep). Map and course video coming soon.

The course information videos can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1QTv7aFhfp/?mibextid=wwXIfr

The campground features a shower house with heated restrooms (as long as the park does not need to winterize), and an outdoor shelter that will serve as the main aid station. Other race features include two port-a-potties at the main aid, a large bonfire area for outdoor warm ups, an on course aid station, and hot soup and mashed potatoes served all day at the main aid station.
