This year, we're running a two-chip, one mile race in 9 heats. Heats will be separated by several minutes to reduce crowding at the start line.

Day of Race Schedule

8:00AM - parking lot closes for 2 hours

8:30AM - the race begins

9:30AM - the race ends, everyone enjoys snacks, games and music!

9:50AM - award ceremony begins

10:00AM - parking lot opens

11:00AM - event ends

Trophies will be presented for the top three males and top three females in each of the following categories:

One of Greenwich's signature events honoring America’s 250th anniversary will take place on June 6, 2026. This festive event kicks off at the iconic Bruce Museum, with the 1-Mile Run starting at 8:00 AM and the 5K beginning at 8:30 AM. Whether you’re running, jogging, or strolling, participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy a scenic course in Bruce Park and a spirited celebration of our nation’s past and future. After crossing the finish line, stick around for post-run refreshments, awards, entertainment, and enjoy free access to the Bruce Museum, making it a perfect day of fitness, history, and family fun in the heart of Greenwich. #USA250👟🎉

We're back in June again - giving you extra time to train! All the same amenities - great course, shirts, raffle and the best post-race party in Fairfield County. Sweetheart discount entry fee through Valentine's Day, Luck of the Irish discount through St. Patrick's Day, then regular price through race day. If you can't make it physically, you can still join us from afar by participating in our Virtual 5K Run, 1 Mile walk, or 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run.

A series of ten progressively longer races, held at various locations throughout the Town of Westport.

We're happy to announce the 64th annual Roadrunners Summer Series! Once again, we will be using the follow protocols:

1. There will be no in-person race day registration on paper forms. Online registration will remain open until the start time. Runners should register before arriving at the race site, or on their phones when they get there (scan the QR code on the sandwich board sign), then check in with other pre-registered runners.

2. Once again, we will utilize ChronoTrack chip timing technology for all races. This will give all runners a net or "chip" time based on when they cross the start, and will have the added benefit of almost instant results. If you sign up for text alerts, your finish time and place will be waiting for you on your phone when you get back to your car. You will also receive an email later on race morning with your individual result, often with a video clip of your finish. Thanks to Pequot Runners and Fleet Feet for providing timing bibs and chips!

3. To facilitate this, all runners must check in before the race and be assigned a race bib, which must be worn on the front of your shirt or shorts during the race. If you have a bib from a previous Series race you should re-use that, but you still need to check in and tell the volunteer your number.

ONCE AGAIN - PHOTOS! RunSignUp has added the ability for runners to upload photos to this site. So, after you complete your race, post a photo or two of your run - at the start, finish or in between. The more we get, the better! Just click on the Photo tab on the left side of the screen and post away!

Due to the pricing structure for online registration, which includes a $2.61 processing fee for each transaction, it will be MUCH cheaper to register for the full 10-race Series if you are doing more than six races. We strongly recommend you take advantage of the Series discount. It will also eliminate the need to register for each race separately online. AND IF YOU REGISTER BY JULY 2, YOU'LL GET A SHORT SLEEVE TECH SHIRT!

The Celebration:

After you cross the finish line at Pound Ridge Town Park, stick around for a light continental breakfast and refreshments generously provided by Ridgefield Bagels.

Important Logistics

• 5K Finish Line: The race concludes at Pound Ridge Town Park.

• 1K Transportation: 1K participants must check in at the Elementary School to be bused to the Beech Hill insertion point.

• Kids Dash Location: This event takes place entirely within the Town Park.

Bib-pick up will be available the day of the race or on Thursday July 2nd at Townhouse (179 Westchester Ave, Pound Ridge, NY) from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. In person registration on this day as well.
