CLICK HERE TO SEE GPS ROUTES FOR RIDES

A scenic bike tour through the towns of Hatfield, Deerfield, Williamsburg, Conway, Ashfield, and Shelburne.

All proceeds will go towards supporting eye

    research.

The Hatfield Lions Club invites you to the 17th edition of the Hatfield Lions Club Bike Tour.

There will be three ride options (25 miles, 35 miles, and 50 miles) starting and ending at the Lions Club Pavilion (15 Billings Way, Hatfield, MA 01038).

We suggest starting between 8 AM and 9 AM.

The entry fee is $40 per rider. Riders may register in advance through BikeReg, and day of registration ($45, cash only) will also be available at the event. Pre-registered riders will receive a complementary t-shirt.

This event helps the Hatfield Lions club support eye research, our organization's traditional cause.

After the ride, we will host a pasta lunch. It goes without saying that there will be baked potatoes at a Hatfield event.

We are using our traditional routes again this year:

    • The 25 mile route is very flat (less than 800 feet of climbing) and goes through Whatley, Deerfield, and Hatfield. This is a great ride for families.

    • The 35 mile route doubles the climbing of the 25 mile route and adds Conway to the mix. Both the 25 and 35 mile routes have a rest stop in Deerfield, in the shade at the base of the Stillwater Bridge.

    • The 50 mile route is really 56 miles with over 3,600 feet of climbing. This is a scenic ride that travels up to the picturesque Bardwell's Ferry Bridge connecting Conway and Shelburne Falls. This will be the first rest stop of the day. From there, the adventure continues and meets up with the other routes at the Stillwater Bridge rest stop.

We hope you will join us for a fun day.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Amherst, this all-volunteer event supports the Amherst Rotary Good Works Fund, which provides local scholarships and funding for charitable programs throughout Hampshire County.

Fundraise for a Cause Through Cycling!

Do you have a favorite local charity you’d love to support? Now you can!

We are a proud host of the Special Olympics Massachusetts Extra Mile Cycling event for Massachusetts. Last year, Kevin’s Krewe 2025 made an incredible impact—31+ riders and 330+ donors raised $46,107.00 for Special Olympics Massachusetts Extra Mile, using the COVAC supported ride platform.

Join the movement—on your own terms!

Fundraising is completely optional—you can participate in the ride just for the joy of cycling or take it a step further by supporting a cause close to your heart. Here’s how:

    • Register for the COVAC Ride.

    • Ride solo or with a team—you decide how you participate.

    • If you choose to fundraise, all donations can go directly to the charity of your choice or to the Rotary Club of Amherst Good Works Fund.

The Rotary Club of Amherst Good Works Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, meaning all donations made directly to the Rotary Club of Amherst Good Works Fund are tax-deductible.

Whether you're riding for a cause or simply for the experience, you’ll be part of an unforgettable event. Let’s ride, make memories, and create positive change!
