Hamilton’s Around the Bay Road Race is the oldest on the continent, first run in 1894, three years before the Boston Marathon. Rich in history and tradition, the race has grown to include a 5K, 10K, 15K and virtual categories to complement its signature 30K distance. Each participant adds to the history of this beloved race around Hamilton and Burlington's harbour!

2026 Her Majesty's Royal Races

1K, 5K & 10K

At the HMCS Haida National Historic Site

Join us for the Fourth Annual Her Majesty's Royal Races in celebration of the Late Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday! This is sure to be a royally unique event.

For 5K & 10K: Fascinators, the handbag the Queen always carried- with a marmalade sandwich inside/ top hats for men.

For 1K, 5K & 10K: The medal comes in multiple colour options- Navy Blue, Rich maroon and classic black!

Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in 5K & 10K.

This event will be raising funds for the Army Cadet League in support of the RHLI Cadets - 62 RHLI RCACC.

Participate in this run/walk and help us raise funds for youth in Hamilton.

CONFEDERATION PARK 5K & 1K

The Confederation Park 5K is a great race course that takes you through the beautiful trails along the Confederation Park lakeside. This course is fast and flat, perfect for breaking your PB or just taking in the views!
