All proceeds to benefit Webberville High School Student Scholarships and the Cross Country Team.

Entry Fee: $25 until April 12th; $30 April 13th to May 26th. Families/groups of 4 or more who sign up at the same time only $20/person (Ends May 10th). Kids 14 and under $15. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register no later than May 10th.

Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be posted on this site. All participants will receive a medal.

Race Day Schedule:

7:00 am: Packet Pick Up opens. Webberville Elementary School (202 N. Main Street)

8:00 am: Memorial Day Veterans Parade and Ceremony on Grand River Avenue

9:00 am: 5K Run/Walk begins.

Course: The 5K Run/Walk will be an accurate scenic loop around the Village of Webberville. The course begins on Main Street in front of party store. The starting area is very wide and open so everyone can keep their distance!

Packet Pick Up: Race day morning between 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Webberville Elementary School.

    Sprint Duathlon — 2-mile paved run, 14-mile paved road bike, 3.5 mile trail run

    Olympic Relay — team up with one or two friends to complete our Olympic Triathlon together

    Sprint Relay — team up with one or two friends to complete our Sprint Triathlon together

    Park Entry

    A State Park permit or Recreation Passport is needed to enter Pinckney Recreation Area. Visit the Michigan Department of Natural Resources here for pricing and more information.

    While start times are noted in the event information, all start times are subject to change. All participants must be at the mandatory race meeting on the beach at 7:15 AM and ready to race by 7:30 AM. An official race schedule will be sent in the pre-race information.

    Stick around post race for food and festivities! Our Epic staff and volunteers will be cooking up pancakes, breakfast burritos, and more for race participants.

    Howell Recreation and presenting sponsor ChemTrend proudly present the 49th Annual Howell Melon Run (we welcome runners, walkers, and those racing in wheelchairs and other assistive devices) on August 14, 2026. Events begin at 6 PM in beautiful downtown Howell.

    This year's race will feature classic events for the whole family, such as the Melon Roll, The One in a Melon Mile, The Mascot Dash, and the fan favorite Howell Melon Run 5k

    Packet Pickup:

    Early packet pick-up will be on August 11th - 13th at the Benneett Recreation Center 925 W Grand River Ave. Howell MI 48843. We ask that you try to pick up your items in advance if possible but packets will be available on-site for race day starting at 4:30 pm. We will send out a reminder email with details when it gets closer.

    100% of the net proceeds go to providing community programs for the Howell area.

    Registrations on or before 7/27/26 are guaranteed a short-sleeved shirt. Registrations after that date will not receive a shirt. Any leftover shirts will be available for purchase starting one week after the race is complete for $20 each.
