Join Us! To honor Parkinson's Awareness Month, we are hosting the Month to Move Community 5K run/walk (untimed) to raise Parkinson's Awareness during April and engage the community in movement. It's a 5K family fun activity! Run it or walk it to finish it. However you choose to participate, we'd love to have you join us! To support this cause, you may participate either virtually or in person. The in-person event will be held on April 25, 2026, at Williams Park in Brownsburg, Indiana. We will meet at Shelter 3. Please note: The run will not be timed, and no competitive awards will be given for this event.

Your Impact from Participating: All Proceeds from the Month to Move benefit Fight Back Fitness, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to empowering people with Parkinson's. Plan to join us and #FightBackAgainstParkinsons!

As the Brownsburg student population grows, the costs to provide many of the necessary resources will also. Your support will allow us make sure money is never a reason for a child to quit something they passionately wish to pursue. When you run the Gobble Gallop 5K, you support our Annual Campaign, which ensures that all ages can experience the benefits of Y membership, including health, fitness and education. In 2024 we were able to give over $401,571 in financial assistance to our Westside Community.

    The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA strives to make a difference in the lives of people in our community every day. The Gobble Gallop 5k is our largest fundraising event for our Annual Campaign. This past year, the donations we received towards our Annual Campaign helped provide over $401,571 in financial assistance to qualifying Westside families. We were able to provide children with the opportunity to attend preschool, take swim lessons, and play in our youth sports leagues. We would never be able to reach that goal without the help of community members like you. Join us this Thanksgiving and help us give back to our Westside community!
