The AMSC West River Rd Time Trial - July is a cycling, gravel, time trial, and trail running event held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. It is located at 1774 West River Rd in Fort Edward, New York.

Please join Adirondack Multi-Sport Club as we carry on the tradition of the West River Road Time Trials.

Traditional course is a 10ish mile out and back with TT/Tri and Road bike divisions.

New this year will be a 20 Kilometer option for those looking for a little more.

Registration:

West River Rd offers online registration with BikeReg closing at 5:00pm on race day. Race night registration will also be available between 6:00 – 6:15 pm in the parking lot.

West River Rd will be self-seeding with 20K riders going first, then 10 mile riders. Listen carefully and you might hear a few “catch me if you can” callouts.

Parking:

Park at gravel lot on Mill Site Rd.

Bib Pickup:

Bibs will be available for pickup between 6:00pm - 6:20pm near the timing trailer at the start. For West River Rd bibs will be worn on your right side.

Road Bike Category Restrictions:

Only equipment that is permissible for use in a mass start road race under USAC 1I1(g) may be used in the road bike categories. Disc wheels and TT helmets are permitted (but may be subject to ridicule from your fellow racers). "Clip on" bar extensions are not. The timer shall be the final arbiter in any disputes regarding acceptable equipment and clothing.

    Welcome to the first Switch-a-Roo XC!

    The adults are racing, and the kids are in charge!*

    Saturday afternoon, after pre-ride, the kids take charge and the adults get to race on the same courses the

    kids will race Sunday.

    Current coaches, parents, alumni, volunteers, are all welcome to enter!

    All categories will start together at 5:30. Both courses will be open, it is the rider’s responsibility to make the correct turn at the MS/HS split and to count their laps. As everyone is starting together, please self-seed and stage responsibly; unless you’re in the “I try really hard” category, then you have to start at the back and work through traffic!

    Podium recognition will be at 6:30 (yes, the kids are timing this). Make sure you finish your last lap in time.

    All proceeds raised will be donated to the NICA NY League.

    Shredders MTB Summer Camps run for four days, Monday-Thursday, and are packed with bike related activities, riding and fun! Fridays are reserved as our contingency day in case of rain. Please Note:

    Summer camps are open to riders entering first grade in the 2026-2027 school year.

    Shredders Kingdom Girls-Only Overnight Camp is for Grades 6-12 and is open to all rider abilities. This year, we will be based at Kingdom Farm Lodge, where there are trails right out the door! Reach out to Mary Marcinko ([email protected]) if you'd like to know more about this fun camp located in the world-famous Kingdom Trails of Northern Vermont!

    Be Prepared

    To set your riders up for success and enjoyment during Summer Camp, it's essential that brakes and gearing on their bike are fully functional. You can reach out to Grey Ghost Bicycles, Trek Saratoga, or Freemans Bridge Sports for help addressing any mechanical needs your child's bike may have. Let them know your child is a Shredder!

    Additionally, each camper should come equipped with a helmet, water, and a snack for each day of camp. For more detailed information on how to prepare for Summer Camp, click HERE.

    *Head coaches are compensated.

    Refund policy:

    • Any cancellations made BEFORE MAY 4TH will receive a full refund of the registration fees.

    • Cancellations made BETWEEN MAY 4TH AND JUNE 12th will be eligible for a 50% refund.

    • AFTER JUNE 12th, refunds for cancellations or early departures will not be issued, unless in cases of exceptional circumstances like documented medical emergencies or other extenuating situations.
