    This community-focused event brings runners, walkers, families, veterans, and first responders together for an evening of fitness, connection, and support. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit local veterans and first responders through emergency assistance and peer support initiatives in Southeastern Ohio.

    Whether you're racing for a personal best or walking with family, this event is designed for all ages and ability levels.

    RACE COURSE

    5K (3.1 Miles)

    The 5K course will begin and finish near Stormont Park in New Concord. The route will travel through portions of the village and along a designated section of John Glenn Highway (Route 22), utilizing a clearly marked and police-supported out-and-back course. Water stations will be available along the route.

    The 5K will be professionally chip-timed by Muskingum Multisports.

    1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk

    The Family Fun Run is a non-competitive, family-friendly event designed for participants of all ages. The course follows a safe, clearly marked route through the village and is perfect for walkers, children, and strollers. Pets are permitted in the 1-mile event only (must remain leashed at all times).

    AWARDS

    5K Awards will be presented to:

    • Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers

    • Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in each age group:

    Under 14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+

    The 1-Mile Family Fun Run is non-competitive and will not include age group awards.

    RACE PACKETS & FINISH LINE PERKS

    All participants registered by June 20, 2026 are guaranteed:

    • Official Stars and Strides race shirt

    • Custom race bib

    • Finisher medal

    *Registrations received after June 20, 2026 are welcome to participate but are not guaranteed a shirt or medal.

    Post-race refreshments will be available for all participants. Food trucks and Kona Ice will be on-site following the race.

    Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

    Race day packet pick-up and registration will begin at 5:00 PM at Stormont Park.

    Online registration closes prior to race day (date to be determined).

    Refund & Weather Policy

    Bravo Six Foundation reserves the right to modify, postpone, cancel, or convert the Stars and Strides 5K and Family Fun Run to a virtual event due to safety concerns, inclement weather, natural disaster, public health issues, or other events beyond our control.

    Participant Refunds

    • Race registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    • Registration may be transferred to another participant up to 7 days before the event with written notice to race management.

    • If the event is canceled or converted to a virtual format due to safety concerns, participants will not receive refunds. Race shirts and finisher medals will be shipped or made available for pickup when feasible.

    Extreme Weather or Safety Conditions

    For the safety of all participants, volunteers, and spectators, the Race Director and local authorities may delay or modify the race start, shorten the course, or implement other safety protocols without refund.

    Updates regarding weather and event status will be posted on the official race website and communicated via email and social media when possible.

    Virtual Event Option

    If the in-person event cannot be held safely for any reason, the race will automatically convert to a non-refundable virtual event. Virtual participants may submit their results online and will receive their race shirt and medal by mail or pickup.

    ZANESVILLE CITY HALF MARATHON & 5K

    Join us September 26th for the 6th annual Zanesville City Half Marathon and 5K!

    Along with the historic scenery and great hospitality that participants will experience out on the course All participants of both events will also receive a Custom Finishers Medal, Premium Race Tee, plenty of post-race recovery snacks and beverages, and memories that will last forever.

    Participants will enjoy all the hospitality that Zanesville has to offer as they follow the course throughout the city of Zanesville. Beginning and ending in downtown Zanesville. Total course elevation change is a manageable 414 ft. * Course will be open for 3.5 hours.

    RACECOURSE - 5K

    Participants will begin in downtown Zanesville

    HALF MARATHON & 5K AWARDS

    Overall and Age group awards will be issued in both the Half Marathon and 5k.

    Over all Awards will be issued to the top three overall male/female finishers. *Overall awards will be issued based on Gun Time not Chip Time.

    Age group awards will also be issued to the top 3 male/females in each of the following age categories:

    14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

    RACE RESULTS

    Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website. Live results will be published to the results tab.

    RACE PACKETS & FINISH-LINE PERKS

    All finishers of the Zanesville Half Marathon and 5K will receive a Finishers Medals.

    Your race packet will include a Premium Race T-shirt with the official race logo, finish line food and beverage.

    *All participates registered by August 30th are guaranteed a t-shirt. Extra t-shirts will be first come first serve basis after August 30th.

    REFUND POLICY

    The Friends of the Parks are happy to present the “Friends of the Parks Half Marathon, 5k & 10k Powered by: Coshocton Regional Medical Center.” This race will have a great course that will showcase Coshocton's beautiful Lake Park Complex bike trails as well as some running on the city streets of Coshocton for the longer distances. The 5k will be completely confined to bike trails.

    *Register by September 18th, 2026 to be guaranteed an event gift.

    Kids Under 12 can register for the 5k for free! (Price reflected at checkout.)

    When: Friday, October 23rd, from 5:00-7:00 pm Where: New Life Ministries, 727 S. 7th Street, Coshocton, OH.

    If you are unable to attend packet pickup you may send a representative to gather your packet, or you can pickup on race morning beginning at 7 am.
