Join us for a community 5K run/walk on June 6th, 2026, dedicated to making a difference close to home. All proceeds benefit Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors, which provides essential goods and support to families in need within our community.

Whether you run or walk, every mile helps strengthen and uplift our neighbors. Together, we can turn steps into support and miles into meaningful impact. The course includes three loops of moderate incline(nothing a beginner can't handle!).

T-shirts will be provided to all participants if registered before 5/15, 2026. Custom medals will also be given to top 3 overall male finishers and female finishers.

We will be providing two mini buses with 14 seats to and from the Jersey City Half Marathon and Marathon departing from Fleet Feet Montclair (603 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair) between 5:00 and 5:15am. They will drop runners off near the start / finish area in Jersey City by 6:00am. Plan to arrive early so you have plenty of time to park and get to the buses no later than 5:10am. We will start checking people in and loading the buses at 5:00am so each bus can leave as soon as it is full.

For the return trip, we will let you know where the buses will be parked or where it will pick you up. We expect them to start leaving from Jersey City at 10:00am with each bus leaving as soon as it is full. This will limit the wait time for a bus whether you are running the marathon or half marathon and whether you are a fast or slow runner. Please make sure to let us know at check-in if you are not planning to take the bus back so we don't end up waiting for you. Roundtrip fares only. Runners and spectators are welcome to join us.

Book your reservation early to be sure of a seat. Registration will close when we reach capacity. The cost is $40 for members of the Essex Running Club or their immediate family or $50 non members. There will be NO REFUNDS (unless the race is canceled). Visit www.essexrunning.com/join-us/ for information on how to become a member of the Essex Running Club and to be eligible for the lower price for club members.

Founded in January 2018 by Ryo, Dao-Yi, and Eugene, Old Man Run Club in New York City began as a lighthearted joke about feeling old while running but quickly blossomed into a welcoming community of around 50 members. Emphasizing long-distance runs every Saturday—ranging from 9 to 22 miles at a conversational pace—the club fosters inclusivity across all paces, ages, and genders, with more female than male runners. Meeting at Urban Studios, members share camaraderie that extends beyond running, exploring iconic city routes along the Hudson River, Central Park, and landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge. Rooted in the spirit of the NYC Marathon, the club provides a supportive environment for building endurance and confidence while celebrating the vibrant energy and diverse neighborhoods of New York. Without formal membership or fees, Old Man Run Club invites anyone eager to embrace the challenge of long runs and genuine connection in the city’s dynamic running scene.

Black Roses NYC started in 2013, founded by Knox Robinson and Jessie Zapo. It’s not a casual running club. This is a high-level, invite-only team for runners who are serious about both training and the city’s downtown scene.
