Willow Running USA is both excited and proud to team up, once again in 2026, with the CNY Community Art's Center in Fulton, NY to offer the Run To Remember 5K Run/Walk on Saturday May 23 in Fulton, NY that should conclude just as the annual Memorial Day Parade commences and the Field Days begin.

We will have awards for top Overall winners (M/F), Masters Overall winners (M/F) as well as Age Group winners (M/F).

We have added a Rucking division for those of you interested making this a more unique challenge. We are requiring a minimum of carrying an extra 20lbs in your rucksack or backpack. This category will be scored separately with awards for top Male and Female finishers.🥇🏆

All participants will receive a custom shirt and finisher medal plus a free sandwich post race courtesy of Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A sandwich will be available for the first 150 sign ups. Stick around as the annual Fulton Memorial Day Parade will coincide with the finish of the race. There will be plenty of fun activities for all including children.

This event is for runners, walkers, those pushing strollers and walking/running with their puppies (leash required).

We are planning on this event truly being a "run to remember", hopefully you can join us as we celebrate life and sincerely acknowledge the great sacrifice that our military men and women have made on our behalf as American citizens. On this day, we recognize those who made the greatest sacrifice on behalf of our great country.

    We invite you to come spend some time with us as we enjoy a mid-June morning full of good cheer, a spirited 4K run/walk followed by a post-race shortcake and fun festival put on by our good friends at Sunshine Horses The 4K will be officially timed with awards for Overall, Masters and Age Group winners. All participants will receive a free strawberry shortcake at the conclusion of their run for a job well done. This is a perfect event to introduce the younger members of your family into fun running activities.

    The ShortcaKe 4K will benefit Sunshine Horses, Inc. The first 280 registrants are guaranteed to receive a custom race shirt. All finishers are awarded a custom finisher medal.

    For our adult walkers and runners, be sure to register ahead of time as registration will increase on 6/20 and again on 7/2. We also encourage you to sign up by June 15th to guarantee your race t-shirt. Any registrants after 6/15 will not be guaranteed a shirt.

    The 5th Annual Kids Fun Run presented by The AUER FAMILY FOUNDATION is back as well! Numbers for this fun event have grown year after year! The cost is $5 per child and will include some fun swag! We will be doing a 100-meter dash BEFORE the main race, at the starting line to get everyone excited and have a great crowd to cheer the kids on! The kid's fun run will take place before the race at 8:45 AM sharp - YOUR CHILD MUST BE UP BY THE START LINE BY 8:40 TO GUARANTEE THEIR PARTICIPATION.

    Our honor/memory bibs will be bringing those back again free of charge for our participants to fill out!

    We will also be awarding our top 3 male and female finishers again thanks to our sponsor Stick and Rudder!

    We will keep our virtual option for those who will not be able to join us in person for this year's event.

    Kids Fun Run starts at 9am - 5K at 9:30am

    In addition to the races, participants can enjoy a variety of local vendors, community partners, and health and wellness resources—making it a fun and healthy way to spend the morning while supporting a great cause. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female 5K finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Prizes will be awarded for the best individual costume, the best team costumes, and the best decorated stroller or wheelchair.
