It's time for our 11th Annual Tutu Run! Sign up now for the 5k race or the one-mile fun run/walk through the beautiful Forest Hills Subdivision in Downtown Griffin. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Outside Zumba warm-up provided by Dawn Johnson. Feel free to wear a fun "tutu" for the race. Proceeds support the Griffin Ballet Theatre.

Register early for a T-shirt. Medals will be awarded for male overall, female overall, and age categories. Snacks and hydration stations will be provided.

New Salem Baptist Church (NSBC) and the Active Faith Ministry would like to welcome you to join our 4th annual Spring Into Service 5k event! This year's 5k event will be in support of The Boxes of Hope Ministry! This ministry is an annual food box and outreach ministry provided by New Salem Baptist Church. In 2026 the Boxes of Hope Ministry aims to increase the reach of this ongoing ministry and distribute 250 food boxes filled with enough food for a family for 2 weeks, hand written notes of encouragement, information on how to connect to a local body of believers for support and Gospel information, and a family bible. These 250 boxes will be distributed locally, right here in Griffin! We know by following the example of Jesus, you meet physical needs for the opportunity to also meet spiritual needs. The Boxes of Hope Ministry is excited for the opportunity to not only feed local families but to also connect with them on a spiritual level. The fundraising goal for this outreach is lofty at

$20,000 ($80.00 per box). We know we serve a BIG GOD and He will provide these needed funds! Race Details:

This event will be a 5k distance (3.1 miles). As we are wanting every dollar possible to go directly to the Boxes of Hope Ministry this race will not be chip timed. We will have a horn start and a timing crew recording all finisher’s times and race results. We will have an age group award ceremony and winners will receive a medal. All registrants will receive a race T-shirt designed and printed by J-Max graphics (be sure to sign up by the shirt deadline to guarantee a shirt), race bib, course support, and post race hot breakfast. Breakfast will be lovingly donated and prepared by New Salem Baptist Church!

Having a fun and safe race is a priority. We will have support from Griffin PD and New Salem Baptist volunteers. The course will be well marked and volunteers will be along the route to cheer you on and make sure you know where all the turns are located. There will be one water station about halfway through the course. We will warm up all the walkers/ runners with sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prayer, opening remarks/ instructions, and praise music starting at 7:30 AM. Race starts at 8:00 AM sharp. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome! Any minor child running / walking the race on their own and not in a stroller should register for the event and be accompanied and monitored by an adult. We respectfully request no pets.

Age Group Awards for male and female racers:

Overall Winner and Overall Master Winner (age 40+), 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

Ghost runners will be able to submit by email their virtual race times and will be included in the final race results in their own category. Virtual results will not be eligible for race day awards.

There is a T-shirt deadline for this race. Anyone registering after April 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. Online registration will continue until 7:45 AM on race day. Race Day registration will also accept cash or check. This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. If the race is unable to be safely held due to weather or other unforeseen emergency the event will become virtual and registrants will email their 5K times to NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com by Monday April 19, 2026 at 11:59PM to have their results included in the official race results. If the event goes fully virtual all submitted results will be considered for age group awards. This is an open road course. The City of Lovejoy would like to invite you to the Lovejoy 5K Walk/Run hosted by Councilwoman Rosannette Kirby. The event will be taking place on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. The City of Lovejoy has a strong focus for education and bridging the gap between the community and government. We're excited to have everyone join us in helping raise funds for Lovejoy High School.

The Lovejoy 5K Walk/Run is a great way to bring everyone together in a positive and active way. We encourage all friends, families, residents, and guest to come together for this amazing experience.

This event starts promptly at 8:00 AM. All participants should arrive no later than 7:15am, allowing participants time to check-in. Since 2017, Coach K & Lightweight Fitness gym has been building real momentum in Clayton County through fitness training, free weekly run club, free bootcamps across the county, and community outreached Teacher Tone Up in local schools. We believe fitness should be accessible, visible, and part of the culture.

The Clayco ’Til I Die 5K WALK/RUN is an extension of that mission.

This race is about pride in where we’re from and bringing awareness to the health benefits of physical activity and mental wellness right here in Clayton County.

We will start outside Tara Stadium with a race finish inside the stadium on the track with music, crowd energy, and a full vendor village celebration.

J.A.M. (Jude Academy Memorial) is an annual event to celebrate the legacy of Jude Rockwell Marler. All proceeds go to India to help educate school children. Hosted by Chand Foundation Race Location: 810 New Morn Dr., Hampton, GA 30228 Race time starts at 9:00AM, registration opens at 8:00AM

Jude Rockwell Marler died due to complications during birth on April 28, 2012. He was almost 10 pounds of the most beautiful boy we ever saw…we had been calling him “our buddy” ever since we found out that he was a boy. And that day was the worst day of our lives. He left two stunned parents (Rachel almost died as well and spent many months recovering physically), a big sister who was 12 at the time, grandparents waiting to dote on him, aunts, uncles, and countless friends who were hoping to celebrate. Instead we left the hospital empty handed. Put the car seat away in a closet. And wondered “WHY”. No parent should have to bury their child. But we did. So we had to deal with that. We spent many months in counseling and fully working through the grief process (which never ends) but coming from a faith-filled background, we had to look for a greater purpose…how can we make anything good at all come from our pain?

Through a series of connections, conversations, and the passage of time, we have found a way to use our tragedy to perpetuate the legacy of our son via the Jude Rockwell Academy, located near our family in Lucknow, India. At this school, children from nearby villages are able to receive an education that they otherwise would not have without us. Without Jude. Without you.

We will always have pain and a hole in our hearts but we are glad to be able to extend Jude’s influence through the Jude Rockwell Academy. Jude’s story will continue…
