WE ABSOLUTELY SOLD OUT EARLY IN '25!

Our town permit is based on parking, narrow streets, and our margarita bags.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND YOUR SUPPORT.

You can run or walk the "chip timed" 3.11 mile/5k event OR walk/saunter the

UNTIMED Margarita Mile option. All abilities are welcome.

EVERYONE 21 & over is eligible for a terrific margarita after their finish.

(N/a margaritas, other N/a fluids & soft drinks also available).

NOTE START TIME @ 9:00 am

Both courses are along the scenic seaside neighborhood of Lordship, in Stratford.

All participants in both events will receive the same 'swag' of t-shirt and more.

The 5k timed distance participants are eligible for awards & prizes (see below).

The untimed walk does not include any awards.

This event follows all state guidelines and health department mandates.

EVENT INFORMATION

The 5k Run/Walk is a bib, chip-timed event. You will receive your ‘net’ time.

A specially designed T-Shirt size will be guaranteed to entrants registered by midnight April 19.

After that it's "as available" so don't delay!

Snacks, fruit, refreshments and fluids after you are done.

MARGARITAS for ages 21 and above only. ID NEEDED!

We will also be serving the award winning Athletic Brew, non alcoholic craft brew.

Parking is available in both lots of the Little Pub, along Washington Pkwy, side streets and along the seawall.

PLEASE arrive early and try to carpool. This residential area along the seawall fills up early with non-event cars.

Thanks to the many Departments of Stratford we will be able to present this outdoor event.

Safe distances and safety protocols will be in place, and State/Town guidelines will be met.

With fixed costs and pre-payment of many items it means we CANNOT REFUND any registration fees.

Whether we are live or virtual our commitment to our charity will be maintained.

RACE DATA- We will be using a chip-timed start FOR THE 5k EVENT ONLY.

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR A SAFE START- If you are truly at a speedy running level

(6-7min pace per mile or under) we urge you to be at the start early and ready to go at the front 8:55 am.

This will avoid crowding on the course and help everyone to run more safely. Thanks!

ON THE COURSE-

We ask you to stay safe and run /walk on the left side, facing traffic for safety, and not run in groups.

THE ONE MILE WALK ONLY is an UNTIMED EVENT- We ask you to keep a safe distance and

please let any runners pass safely by staying to the left side of the roads on this course as much as possible.

    For over thirty years the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother's Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health. All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day! Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support programs and patients of Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.

    Important to note: THIS YEAR WE ARE LIMITING OUR PARTICIPANT NUMBER TO 650.

    Please consider registering early - we were close to sold out last year. We do not want to compromise your safety and have limited space.Once registration is closed, it will NOT be reopened. Thank you for understanding.

    EVENTS:

    • Our 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3k Fitness Walk (untimed) both begin and ends at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.

    • You must RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be computer timed and eligible for awards.

    • Our 3K walk (1.8mi) is not timed.

    • Our FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run is prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) and under can enter this non-competitive (no awards) fun run.

    We encourage all levels of participants for all of our events. Join us for a great start to Mother's Day!

    Notes on the courses:

    3K and 5K have the same start but 3K splits off and then joins back to 5K along the water at Fort Trumbull. All 3K participants need to stay on the sidewalks to ensure safety. Both courses are flat and scenic, and are accurately measured and well marked with mile splits. Police and volunteers will be on hand for safety.

    • Friday 5/8 we have added a bib/shirt pickup - 3pm to 6pm sharp!

    OUR RACE WEEKEND IS A WEEK AFTER FATHERS DAY!

    We appreciate all of you who made it to our family-friendly event in the past.

    Join us for a great fundraiser honoring our local Veterans & organizations that serve them.

    All proceeds raised will be donated to Milford's Veterans groups: American Legion, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA).

    Please consider a donation of any amount to help our veterans in Milford.

    We encourage all abilities to join us. You’ll love our course!

    This event will be held in compliance with State of CT, city and health department guidelines.

    • The 5k Run/Walk is bib chip-timed from the start & finish- you receive your ‘net’ time from ‘Last Mile Racing’

    • All runners & walkers completing the entire 5k are eligible for prizes based on their time.

    • Plenty of parking in nearby lots, at The Milford Bank on the green, and the parking lots behind Colony Grill

    • There is no parking allowed on the 5k course

    • A free Kids, safe “Run For The Flag” Fun Run- a non-competitive, 200-yard scamper for kids 10 and younger only - weather permitting. All kids receive a flag and medal at the finish.
