    Get ready to Zoom-Zoom your way to a spooky good time! The Zoomers Southwest Florida Running & Triathlon Club is thrilled to announce the annual Trick or Trot 5K Trail Run/1 Mile Trail Walk. Thanks to our title sponsor, Mazda of Port Charlotte, we can make this a fun and memorable race-day experience!

    Join fellow ghouls and goblins for a fun-filled, Witch and Zombie-themed 5K trail run or 1-mile Zombie walk through the beautiful Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park. Our smooth mixed-surface trail features mostly dirt and gravel, perfect for runners and walkers of all levels.

    • 5K runners receive a race shirt, bib, and an awesome finisher medal with a sliding character on the medal!

    • 1-mile walkers receive a shirt and a bib.

    • After crossing the finish line, enjoy post-race food and refreshments for all ages.

    • Channel your inner zombie, witch, or hero! Costumes are encouraged, and there will be awards for the best costume.

    • This event is perfect for the whole family! Kids aged 1-14 can join in on the fun for a special rate.

    Prizes and Awards for 5k:

    Compete to win Male and Female Overall, Youth, Masters (40+), Grandmaster (50+), Senior Grandmaster (60+), and Veterans (70+), and the top 3 Male/Female in each age group. 0-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. 5k participants will receive a finisher medal.

    $30.00 through September 2

    $35.00 through September 30

    $40.00 through October 17.

    $45.00 October 18 - Race Day

    Kids Ages 1-16: $23.00

    Zoomers Club Members: Enjoy a $5.00 discount for both adults and kids until registration closes!

    Join women from across the region for the 12th Anniversary WOW Ride, hosted by the Village Idiots Cycling Club of Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Sarasota.

    Celebrating cycling, community, and America’s upcoming 250th birthday, WOW welcomes women of all abilities—from first-time event riders to experienced cyclists.

    Location: We are at the Farm Bureau on Palmer Ave this year. There is a pavilion with picnic tables where we can eat lunch from Detwiler's afterwards & bathrooms available.

    Closest hotels:

    If you want to ride your bike to the event: Home2 Suites by Hilton Sarasota I-75 Bee Ridge or Sun Outdoors Sarasota on Fruitville (also good for RVs)

    If you want to be closest to the mall & Benderson Park look at hotels on University: The Hampton Inn & Courtyard are within walking distance of restaurants and stores. The east side of 75, you will be driving to stores, but it's a quick trip & there's a Publix right there.
