This year, the “Long Course” is getting a reset. We will NOT be holding the traditional 33-mile race in 2026. Instead, the Expert Long category will now use the challenging 23-mile course, delivering all the rocks, roots, climbing, and technical terrain Greenwood Furnace is known for without the ultra-distance format.
Despite the updated mileage, this course will still offer MASS points and cash payouts, making it the premier competitive distance for elite riders looking to test themselves against Rothrock’s rugged terrain.
Relentlessly fun, physically demanding, and rewarding from start to finish this is Rothrock racing at full throttle.
SUPER SHORT 10.8-Miler
1,588 FT ELEVATION – $60
Every legend starts somewhere. The Super Short introduces riders to everything that makes Greenwood Furnace special — technical trails, an incredible atmosphere, and an absolute blast from start to finish.
Come for the adventure. Come back for the challenge.

Sport Short Course – Red Arrows 22.7 miles / 2710 ft
Expert Long Course – Black Arrows 22.7 miles / 2710 ft for 2026 NOT 31.6 miles / 3,792 ft

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
7:00 am-8:30 am REGISTRATION Packet pick-up at pavilion 1 Greenwood Furnace.
8:45 am Rider safety meeting.
9:00 am Race will start on time.
12:00 pm, the First finisher expected.
2:00 pm Podium and Cash payouts.
3:00 pm Last rider expected. The finish line closes after the last rider.
Cycling Mountain Biking Trail Ultra

We'll start with a 30-minute run or walk. There are no winners or losers. Following the run/walk we'll gather for 45 minutes of yoga. Whether you have never done a downward facing dog or you've
mastered handstands, this practice is for anyone and everyone. Lastly, we'll finish with 15 minutes of guided meditation that will clear your mind and relax your body.
Please join us as we come together for this fun filled and challenging experience for your mind, body and spirit. The Mindful Triathlon is a family friendly event for all ages and all experience levels, focused on wellness and community.
