I'm participating in Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Carry Forward® Virtual 5K to support life-changing programs for post-9/11 veterans -- and I'd be honored to have your support.

I am carrying forward to help ensure warriors receive the life-changing care they deserve, always at no cost to them.

This is a in person or virtual 5k event, everything donated is contributed to the organization itself and not to the sponsor, I just coordinate and facilitate the event with hopes we get the best possible outcome and that for anyone who attends would want to attend again.

There is a registration fee on their website that they consider a donation, but for that fee they also provide you with a shirt and medal as a thank you. These I will ask you bring to the event because they ask, we submit a photo for those who give consent.

With this being a 5k fun run, you are not required to run, I have had previous participants, walk with flags, ruck with either pack or weighted vest, or just enjoy a nice walk.

At the end I will provide a beverage and snack as a thank you from me for your participation. Then ask anyone willing to join in on the photo.

    The Story of the O-Sho Trail Series

    There's a new trail series in Ogden presented by Trails Foundation of Northern Utah! The O-Sho Trail Series was built for all runners - from the new and novice to the old school crew - together for a fun, weekday evening race to build community and share camaraderie around the Ogden Bonneville Shoreline Trail . This is a fun(d) run! Every dollar put towards race registrations will go back to the trails being used. Come celebrate the incredible access the O-Sho trail provides us in our backyard! Join us for the final race on Thursday, September 17th. Stay and cheer in all the runners with us!

    Packet Pickup

    Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet from 5:30-7 pm Wednesday, September 16th. All race participants will enjoy 20% in store for picking up their bib at Fleet Feet! Runners will also receive a Naak goodie bag and a surprise swag gift from TFNU at packet pickup only.

    Course Details

    Starting at the 27th street trail head, you'll head north on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST) towards the Ogden Canyon overlook where you'll make a short out n back on the Fire Road before heading back to 27th street along the BST. See the CalTopo PDF in the pictures section. The course will be flagged for race day. It is ~5k distance with 400-500 feet of vertical gain (depending on your recording device!)

    Common Questions

    1. What gear is recommended? Good trail shoes, comfortable running clothes, a hat/sunglasses, sunscreen, a water bottle, smart phone/GPS watch for a course map. Note that there are no aid stations out on course. You must carry your own water/fuel. There is water available at the course start/finish. 2. Is my dog allowed to run with me? No dogs are allowed with any race participants. You know...insurance reasons. 3. What if I signed up for the race, but can no longer make it? Email us at [email protected]

    Ogden Santa Run

    The Ogden Santa Run 5K is the first and largest of the Utah Santa Runs. Held in Historic Downtown Ogden this race runs just prior to the Ogden Holiday Light Parade and down Washington Blvd. All participants get a Santa Suit to run in and Milk and Cookie Aid stations supported by Elves that dress as Volunteers. Music is played over the entire course of the race.
