The Rice Run is an annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by the Colleton County Rice Festival and Presented by Palmetto Rural Telephone Coop.
5K Run
A scenic 3.1 mile race through a quaint, downtown neighborhood and Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary. The course starts with a gradual incline, turns into a winding, paved nature trail followed by a few rolling hills, and ends with a flat decline.

2nd Place 5K Overall Male & Female: $75 each
3rd Place 5K Overall Male & Female: $50 each

1 Mile Fun Run
For all ages, runners and walkers — the Fun Run is just that — for FUN! It is not a race, so no placements or individual awards will be given.
All participants, 5K & 1 Mile, will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal!
