Join us for the annual Pirate Booty Dash to support the Napoleon Athletic Boosters. Enjoy a a professionally timed rural run through the village of Napoleon. The route will take you through our local park, around pastures, and winds up around the perimeter of Camp Store. A course that is both scenic and challenging!

The Pirate Booty Dash 5K starts at 9:00 AM. Kids Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM in front of Ezra Eby Elementary.

Early Packet Pick-Up: June 20th 6:00 pm. to 7:30pm in front of Napoleon High School (201 West Street)

Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Starts at 8:00 am race day morning.

T shirts to those registered by Sunday, June 7th @ midnight. Supplies available after that date as they last.

    Join us for our 9th annual 5k run/walk at Cascades Falls Park! The park is located at 1401 S Brown St, Jackson, MI 49203. Paws in the Park is one of Cascades Humane Society’s largest fundraisers of the year. All donations and registration fees go straight to the animals in our care. Paws in the Park 2026 will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026 and features a beautiful 5k run/walk around Cascades Falls Park. Leashed dogs are welcome to attend and participate in the event. Prefer a short distance or a casual troll? Join us for our 1 Mile Woof Walk! Each 5k participant will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. Each Woof Walk participant will receive a t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed with registrations by April 30, 2026. Supplies are available as they last after that date.

    Early Packet Pick Up will be at Cascades Humane Society on Friday, May 29th from 12:00 - 6:00 pm.

    The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old.

    The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active. This race is located at the Parkside Middle School Track on Thursday evening, June 4th. We hope to have a fun and challenging event for all the kids to get their summer off to a running and healthy start!

    Calling all Elementary and Middle School students: Finish up your school year with a challenging and fun mile and get your Summer off to an active healthy start!

    All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal.

    FREE! There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile. It is a free race for any child ages 5 to 14 years old.

    Online registration only: To participate in the event you must register your child on this site prior to the race. We need to know your child's information before the race so we can issue a bib number for them and have their shirt sizes and other race materials ready for them. There will be no registration available at the race.

    Race is limited to the first 200 participants. Register for the race early!

    SCHEDULE

    Race 1: 6:30pm | 5 - 7 year olds

    Race 2: 6:50pm | 8 – 9 year olds

    Race 3: 7:10pm | 10 - 11 year olds

    Race 4: 7:25pm | 12 - 14 year olds

    RESULTS: This race will be electronically timed using a disposable chip on the bib number. Results will be available immediately after the race and will be posted on this web site.

    AWARDS: There are no awards for the race. The purpose of the program is for the runner to challenge themselves to run their best race and start a healthy lifestyle. All of the runners will receive a Mighty Mile medal when they cross the finish line!

    COURSE INFORMATION: The start and finish is on the Parkside Middle School Track The first 1/4 mile of the race is on the track, the runners then make a loop on school grounds and finish with a 1/4 mile on the track. The race is not 4 loops of the track. Feel free to run with your child! We will have members of the Grow Jackson Organization along the entire course to offer encouragement and support.

    ENTRY FEE: The race is FREE there is no entry fee BUT Registration for the race must be done online on this site prior to the race. There will be no registration available at the race.

    PACKET PICK UP: Race day at the Parkside Middle School Track starting at 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm.

    Bring water for your child. There is not water available at the race.

    We provide the optimal training experience in the summer. The participants and location have always made Sauk Valley what it is – the best camp for anyone who wants to be pushed to excellence on and off the course.

    Tri Goddess Tri celebrates women of all abilities, inspiring them to reach new heights of health and set new fitness goals by training for and completing a triathlon. Held just 12 miles west of Chelsea at the Portage Lake Unit of Waterloo State Recreation Area, surrounding our participants in scenery as beautiful and inspiring as themselves.

    Tri Goddess Tri features min-sprint, sprint, and Olympic distance events:

    All bike distances are on paved roads, rolling hills.

    All runs are a mix of road and trail.

    Certification

    This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT) therefore all participants must have an annual membership or purchase a one-day membership.     The race director, Eva Solomon, is a USAT Level 2 Certified Race Director. This is the highest level available, she is the only Level 2 USAT Certified race director in Michigan and 1 of only 11 in the country.
